Good thought...how'd you find your buyers? I've got no 'motorhead' network. Craigslist?

I wish!!! No craigslist back in 1993. What i did back then was contact a bunch of the local body shops and let them know what I had. I also ran a small classified ad in the local paper under Vehicles for sale listing the parts I had available.

I also pulled the tires and wheels off after I loaded it on the trailer and sold those as well. Got another $200 for them. The scrapyard had a big claw crane to remove it so I didn't have to roll the vehicle off.

Derek, I am on the verge of purchasing a Warbonnet Blackbird xlc and it is completely your fault.

For anyone who's actually still interested, and because I saw that damn dress picture after I heard about it on NPR tonight (on my very long drive home from the opposite side of our state) - The maker says the dress is blue/black, but the science geek color/neuro-optical guy said it is blue/orange. I figger since his name is appended with "Dr." he's right. As far as the spinning chick, I think I can see TNE. and she's spinning in both/either directions. If I have one more beer, I might ask her for a date in bigghoss' new/old Cougar.

buddy of mine has one of those - VERY nice hammock. are you getting the zip on cover for it also?
it actually works to reduce heat loss.

Guys, what colors do you see on this dress? I see black and blue but my parents see white and gold..

okay, first thing: the color samite, that is all

second thing: a bad image of the original cannot really convey the actual item, at best you get a poor approximation; esp on arbitrary monitors, backgrounds, and lighting.

do this

if you get 100% you can argue about color ;)

i would strongly consider the Hennessey new models with the zipper and improved storage system and Hex fly. they're completes...

most of the other ones, typically, are sold as pieces parts, afaik. which makes them more modular in a way, but more random too.

been rocking them for 15 years or more...

Not sure yet. Realistically I probably won't camp out in cold enough weather to justify it, but on the other hand, I need to spend more time in the woods, and I haven't seen a negative review of them yet. Probably going to wait a bit and keep doing research.

Thanks Bladite, I will check them out. Whatever I end up with, I need to get it broke in before the gathering.

How did you put the two images together?

I used that old MS standby "Paint".

Step-
1- open paint
2- copy the screen using the "print screen" function
3- paste into paint
4- copy the desired section
5- open a new doc in paint and make with the target area large enough to put the 2 segments in
6- paste in copied section
7- open NEW ITERATION of paint (means you have 2 paint programs open at the same time)
8- go to screen you want the 2nd part from
9- "print screen" the 2nd screen
10- paste in 2nd Paint iteration
11- copy section from 2nd screen that you want
12- got to first paint iteration and paste in the 2nd part - it shows up covering the first segment, but is moveable.
13- click/hold on the "new" "overlaid" segment and drag it down and align it with the first segment
14- save.

Takes longer to type than to do. :D
