After pestering me for 3 days via PM with his lowball offers we finally agree on a price and he says "I'll take it". He asks for my paypal address then backs out saying he didn't realize it was serrated. WTF? After 3 days you didn't notice the blade style? I've sold a dozen plus knives here and never dealt with a welcher or anyone that did not honor an "I'll take it". :jerkit: Link to my ad http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1121883-F-S-Pro-Tech-TR-3-SWAT

He bought a knife off me, something like $20 shipped, it was cheap. He Paypal'd, so I packaged it up and took it with me on a 200 mile drive that evening so I could ship it in the morning. When I get to my destination later that night I have a PM from him stating another guy posted the same knife for sale for a couple bucks cheaper (sub $20 here folks) and he bought it and wanted me to refund his money. I did so begrudgingly. What a waste of my time and resources.

I'll never deal with him again.

Backing out before anything exchanges hands is not cool, but its not the end of the world either.

Mr. Edge, maybe you should have put that in his feedback. He's got 57 good feedbacks, and 1 negative.

Looks like he got a negative feedback for doing something simillar, and retaliated by leaving a negative as well (of course).
He makes a habit out of it. If he thinks this is ok, I also must disagree. Not to say overly irritating.
Common sense is not that common anymore. Thanks for the heads up.

Alright let's be truthful here. "We" never agreed to a price I offered you $80 for a knife you are currently trying to sell for $90 a few days ago. You ignored my 1 email and 1 PM I sent. I sent one more offering $85 and the only response I got from you was an "I'll pass". So I moved on. I would hardly call that pestering or low balling on my part. Today you sent me a PM saying you would take $90 for said knife. I declined because I was no longer interested. What I get in response is a nasty PM back and this thread started behind my back. Awesome. And I say behind my back because I found this thread on my own you didn't have the balls to send me a msg saying hey I'm gonna start a thread to try and bash you.

As for wire edge I'm sorry that you're still sore I changed my mind and didn't buy your tuff lite. But again let's be truthfully I told you with an hr or so after sending the PayPal that I no longer wanted the knife. I kinda find it hard to believe the second after I sent PayPal funds you jumped in your car and went on a 200 mile trip. You yourself said this was over a sub 20 dollar knife so why are you still crying about it.

If you click on that "feedback" you'll see my response to that as well

These two guys and the other guy that have negative things to say about me have never actually bought, sold, or traded anything with me. I've had nothing but positive interactions with people on here that I've actually done deals with. These are all cases were I changed my mind and the other party instead of moving on to the next person interested in their knife decided to get pissed off at me.

Bad idea. Itrader is only to be used for completed transactions.

I'm pretty sure feedback is meant for when you actually do a deal with someone not for "getting back" at someone for changing their mind and not buying your knife.

Yeah and that 1 negative I have is NOT from a completed transaction. I let the other party know days in advance of when we were going to ship that I no longer wanted to trade. Nothing was ever even sent between us.

But I'm not really worried about it. The people I've had countless good deals with on here know I'm a good member. I just wanted to make sure BOTH sides of the story were told. People can come to whatever conclusion they want. I've had ppl back out of deals or change their minds on a sale plenty of times to me on here but you don't see me freaking out or trying to drag their names in the mud.

People do get tired of flakers, I sure do. Changing boats in mistream isn't conducive to building a solid reputation. The feedback numbers don't matter much at that point.

An old story with this guy.... Excuses, he has a million of em...

And what exactly do you have to complain about pwerfel? I was waiting for you to show up and troll this thread. Did I not send you $20 plus dollars via PayPal to cover your shipping and extra postal fees after you freaked out when I couldn't ship the same day and YOU backed out of the trade. I think I went above and beyond to make that right and you're still gonna act like that?

Corey,

"Trolling", "No we do not see you dragging others name thru the mud here"

I have no complaints here, just shedding some light on your "countless good deals"...

I do not understand what is so hard about carrying on a smooth transaction. I've had a couple of deals lately where the seller actually went ahead and printed out the online label and notification before I got back to him with PayPal. -- You see, some of us are used to dealing with people who decide what they want to do before they contact each other.

I've got over 50 positive feedbacks and that's just the ones who took the time to leave it. So yeah I think I have completed a "few" good deals on here.

Deal. What's your PayPal info?

Another member has also emailed me saying he screwed him on a deal as well and he is a real scumbag. His words not mine.

Itrader is only to be used for completed transactions.

Just to clarify, please, if a buyer pays and a seller refuses to ship and refuses to send a refund (rendering the transaction incomplete), the iTrader system should not be used in that circumstance? Thanks.
