Yeah and there was another pm following those within minutes saying disregard that you're leaving out. The only scumbag and wanna be internet tough guy is you. I've never screwed anyone over on these forums. I'm pretty sure lying and attacking members on the forums because they didn't want to buy your knife isn't looked good upon. By starting this you're just making yourself look like a dbag.

powernoodle, if money or goods change hands, it is iTrader material. Once that ball starts rolling, it is too late to say "we never had a deal".

Saying "I'll take it" and then not sending money, just disappearing, is trashy, but a case for FEEDBACK / GBU, not iTrader.

In general, this seems like an old story. Its really not that hard to make a decision before jumping the gun on an "I'll take it" or agreeing to a deal. That said, I've never dealt with Comeandtakeit so its not an indictment of him. Just seems there's a lot of this sort of thing going on.

Simple6:

You have the knife. He has his money. You 'put up with him' for 3 days, he backed out.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

No harm, no foul. Quit whining and move on. Oh yeah, and grow thicker skin before selling here or anywhere.

Geez.

Man comeandtakeit is popular, I have people contacting me singing his "praises". lol This person gave me permission to quote them;

Also check out his forum post it's full of withdrawls in sales threads, looks to me like hes backed out of a ton of deals besides the 3 listed in your thread.

Well, I asked because earlier I said "Mr. Edge, maybe you should have put that in his feedback", to which you responded "Bad idea. Itrader is only to be used for completed transactions.". Mr. Edge (who is not the original poster) had received money from Mr. Comeandtakeit who then allegedly backed out, so I told Mr. Edge that I thought he should have given bad feedback. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Disregard.

If you have any specific questions, please feel free to direct the, to me via email or private message. I'd love to offer clarification to you if you do require some.

what's a welcher?

Look it up.

We can't use the he said-she said anecdotal BS in this mix. Let them post up if they have something to say. Continuing down this path I can see a locked thread and some additional mod intervention being a necessity.

I think a welcher makes grape juice, but I could be wrong. This thread is making me think it might be sour grapes.

I do not understand what is so hard about carrying on a smooth transaction. I've had a couple of deals lately where the seller actually went ahead and printed out the online label and notification before I got back to him with PayPal. -- You see, some of us are used to dealing with people who decide what they want to do before they contact each other.

I agree with you, and at least with the members I have dealt with on here a smooth transaction seems very easy to do whether you end up making on or not.

Simple, so if your knife offers were repeatedly lowballed by comeand, which you say pestered you so, yet you took his offer, and then he backed out because he found out the knife was serrated, and it's such a great knife, wouldn't it just be easier to relist the wonderful knife ( you might want to let folks know it's a serrated knife from the beginning next time, thereby giving less reason for someone to change their mind), get a non lowball offer and roll around in the dough. You're getting so worked up over something that cost you nothing. Except an infraction or two by now.

As far as I am concerned, writing "I'll take it" constitutes a legally binding contract under US laws (UCC) that supersede forum rules and customs. OP is within his legal rights to be pissed off.

Why would he need to tell people when THE PHOTOS clearly show that it is serrated?.

I think the OP is just venting about someone who shows constant bad form on the for sale forum. Corey said "i'll take it" in a thread of mine and even sent money to my paypal. Then I packaged the knife up right then and there (I keep USPS boxes and labels at home) 20 mins later he asks me to refund his money, which I did. The purchased package cost me a couple dollars or something, I didn't mention it, and that was that. I guess he just found another knife he would rather buy. It kinda pissed me off, and really irritated me. I think he just changes his mind a lot, not the end of the world. I have purchased a couple knives I thought twice about or found another deal on and still followed through with the initial purchase because it would have been a selfish move to back out of a deal I posted "i'll take it" in.

I think that if you post "i'll take it" in a thread, it screws the sale up for the seller if you back out. Don't say you will take it if you don't intend to buy it. At least deal with it via PM.

I don't think I would sell another knife to Comeandtakeit. Unfortunately, changing your mind, low balling people and inconveniencing them aren't grounds to get kicked off the forum. It's just part of selling to some members here.
