Communication issue resolved !

A lot of mistakes were made here, and yes you are right , Life , vacations, etc, get in the way. I was told he has been seen on the site yesterday, OK, why then , has he not contacted me ? I have left him countless messages where he can see them , and nothing , am I the only one wrong here????

IMO he should not have had his PP address listed in the ad, That just opens the door to potential problems, but I truly believe he is going to make you whole-either knife or money. If not theft would be his least problem. He has gone insane:). If he doesn't make you whole, member's are certainly going to say something about that. Keep trying to make contact with him, be patient - there is almost no if not no chance this won't be solved in the end. The only thing in ? is if you get the knife you desire or just your money back.
Sooner or latter he will realize his PM mail box is full.
Also IMO- he should have an Email listed to his account if he is selling.

So well put Sir...

Also, whoever thinks it's a good idea to send a refund on another members behalf ... stop thinking. It's an unnecessary complication in what should be a fairly easy dispute to resolve. Frankly, this affair is none of your business beyond commenting in this thread.

Hoping you get your knife or a refund soon..

Some of us know and trust each other enough to have each other's backs. There's a few people here that I'd do the same thing for, knowing they'd have my back if I needed it. BTW, I don't think it. I know it.

Lone-Wolfe understands
SpySmasher.. Its your choice to have an opinion to what some of us tried to help and do

Others of us....KNOW each other....well..Friendships and trust built over years....well enough to help..."Have each other Back" if you will""

There are a circle of people I would NOT hesitate to help if I am able With out expecting nothing in return
Thats how some of us roll...Like it or not.. Its how we are..

Im certain I can speak for myself...That wont change as long as we are involved in BF...

That is nice to hear. What I am gathering from these threads are that Gun man is someone's back you have. I really am interested in getting the knife first and the money second. I will exercise patience until he can be reached. I guess I owe him that much. Thank you

:thumbup:Good for you buddy.. Outstanding attitude..
Lessons learned to all involved..Good or Biased comments...
The best part is people make mistakes..(we are all guilty of it in one way or another)
People learn..Bottom line..You get your blade your after..All is well in the BF Family....:thumbup:

Despite all the drama in this thread, it has confirmed my belief that there are some really seriously good folks here.

I really like the knife he is selling, probably that is why I was so impatient and scared I would not get it. To make along story short, the $40 was all I had to spend on knives for a few months, so it was a lot to loose for me.so either I get the knife or the $$. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Gunman is usually on-point when it comes to transactions. I've bought from him, however money is money.... $40 or $4.
I don't see a reason for beating up on The Op.... A payment sent means that a transaction needs to take place! Either the knife needs to be delivered or the Op needs his money back!

I am not trying to pile on, but keep in mind that sending payment with no communication from the seller to an address that is not clearly identified as a payment address (although it does appear as part of the same stream of consciousness) then getting upset with the seller is a bit reactionary. The OP acknowledges that, so good for him. The seller should be given some slack for now also. Life happens and some people don't hang on every message from their e-mail or even notice the payment site unless they are expecting a transaction.

Just because the site showed his browser was connected at some time in the last day is not some sort of proof that the seller is even looking at the window that has the forum connection. The seller may be stunned when he notices someone sent him $40 before the transaction was acknowledged.

For the record I do not know either party

I'm also really hoping everything is ok with Dwight, seller, and his family.
