  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Complimentary Carry Combos

I routinely carry a CRK Sebenza 21 Insingo or CRK Inkosi in my left pocket, and a Spyderco Roadie in my right.

My daily edc rotation includes a Fallkniven juni on a ball chain as a necker. I rotate a lone wolf lobo cocobolo d/a, Al Mar sere 2000 d/a, spyderco vallotin sub hilt d/a, & a recently acquired reate/begg kwaiken courtesy of you. Thanks again brother and good luck with your new pal.

I usually carry a CS Tuff Lite to accompany my other larger folder. That way I have some non-threatening to use if needed, and I am not afraid to loan it out to someone.

surprised i havent seen a dragonfly 2 on here yet. I used to carry one in my coin pocket of my jeans everyday, along with what ever knife i was carrying. My favorite combo was the dragonfly and a military or my zt0560. Liked having a small friendly utility knife, then a big serious one.

WARNING : Nerdy excess of photos and BS ahead

I think the Spyerco Cricket is a permanent fixture now (at work or any other time).
I have just started to rotate out the Manix and gone back to the Ti handled Boker 440C shown. I am sure the Manix will come back around.

The Cricket destroyed a product the other day. I was holding it in one hand after it had expertly opened some P in the A packaging and closing the Cricket in the other hand and it reached over with it’s talon like hook and the deed was done. He looked at me like a new dog that had killed his first bird.
Bad dog. You killed that product.
He looked at me with pride as if to say yah but it was quick.

The rest of the mess has been there on the belt at work for years and years.
The long blades on the SAKs I reground to chisel (single bevel) one left; one right with fairly wide angle edge grind. Precision pliers on one and scissors on the other. Note the different location on the handle of the philips screw drivers. I use both. Well that’s another pair.

The Japanese single bevel, wood handled knife I usually don’t carry but it is in my bag under the bench. Super sharp for clean cuts in really soft rubber products and the SAK Bantam right near it is used for the same thing but is super shallow ground and double bevel. Oil the knife and it is like surgery. The SAK Bantam ALWAYS rides in the belt pouch with the other SAKs. That’s one more pair (soft rubber cutters).

The huge handled abomination to God and Man is the most recent work EDC ; Ti Lite turned Razel. Think of it as a two fisted chisel I can even use to take burs off steel products. Very wide angle edge grind on both edges. Shoot me if I start carrying a pair of these. No really; don’t hesitate just pull the trigger.

The last one is the tiniest flush cutting nippers I could find. Brilliant and very well made (stout pivot; much better than my last pair which were larger). Does / gets in, where the SAK scissors can’t. I guess that’s another pair.

OK I’ll stop now; this excess is . . . well . . . excessive.

PS: the Knipex pliers wrench and the precision pliers on the SAK is another pair :D
Was the tilite razel ground down from its original format or the result of a broken tip and some ingenuity? Good job on that one!

These are some of the sexiest traditionals I have seen in a good while (although I don't normaly. These traditionals are catching my eyes more and MORE these did not help .

Am I allowed to ask what theses guys are going for these days if available?

I always have a modern folder clipped to my front right pocket and a Swiss army alox cadet in the bottom of that same pocket along with an edc light clipped to my front left pocket. I use the cadet most of the time which helps keep my good knives in excellent condition for longer periods of time.

No longer own the Bull Nose or the pancake sheath. Gave those away. The knife on BF, the sheath on another (non-knife) forum with a Case Trapper.
