Complimentary Carry Combos

Is that the paragon warlock? How do you like it?

I love it! It sees a lot of pocket time and usage at my job (retail) - very unique and fun to use, while still being a quality bit of cutlery. Even the non-knife people at my job have noted how awesome it is.

It's very easy to operate and the novelty has yet to even begin to fade. I think it's going to be a long-term part of my carry rotation.

Basically always carry a SAK or traditional in addition to a modern folder. Adds versatility and a socially acceptable cutting option to my repertoire.

I always have a modern folder clipped to my front right pocket and a Swiss army alox cadet in the bottom of that same pocket along with an edc light clipped to my front left pocket. I use the cadet most of the time which helps keep my good knives in excellent condition for longer periods of time.

I carry the exact same things. I cut almost everything with the modern folder though. The SAK is primarily for the tools.

Hah, I just bought a Boker City Tech Tool 5 for my dad to replace both his Tinker and the knife I have him years ago - he likes the clip on the knife because he can jam two rare earth magnets up near the screws and use it to pick up little bits of metal that invariably fall on the ground while he tinkers. I figure, combine the best of both worlds... I even made sure that all the same tools were present by feigning interest in buying my own and having him send a picture of it opened.

Very sneaky CU.......but I like it!!!

Thanks, man, it's much appreciated! I'm on the mend and doing well, even discovered the hidden use of my Boker Tech Tool 2. Serrated blade is perfect for cutting off hospital armbands. ;)

cchu518,

Was the tilite razel ground down from its original format or the result of a broken tip and some ingenuity? Good job on that one!

Well one night there was this entire motorcycle gang coming at me and I was cornered in this dead end alley with shear walls and I . . .

nah, nah
I actually bought that big bad boy with the sole purpose of making a Franken-knife.

I like to EDC a Spyderco Delica 4 and a CRKT minimalist. Because I am left handed both knives suit me well. The Delica (obviously) has an ambidextrous opening hole and the CRKT minimalist has reversible belt clip.

Yup
life's too short not to use the crap out of my "good" knives
and
then I get to use my super good sharpening stuff
win/win
speaking of win/win
somebody bang on the door at Chef Knives to Go and encourage them to get the Shapton Edge Pro 220 stones back in stock !
Then I will buy one.
Been OS for at least six months that I know about and I'm Jonesin'
I pester him but . . .
Please
Do I REALLY have to send my money off shore to Jende ? ? ? ?
OK, end of rant . . . I feel . . . better . . . I guess . . .

A lot of us carry more than one blade - some for the different shapes and sizes of knives they may need though the course of a day, some have a self-defense backup, some have left and right-handed carry, and I'm sure a lot of us carry more than one basically just because we can!

Today is a work day: RAT Worx MRX (full size) and a Boker Stag Gnome:

Wow I like that RAT. Heres mine: XL voyager tanto and large Sebenza 21.

I find the Leatherman Micra, carried in the pocket and not encumbered by keys on a key ring, is the perfect compliment to a single blade pocket knife.

That's one of the best minimalist + inexpensive EDC combos I've seen. No more - and no less - than you're ever likely to need, and you'd only be out $30-$40 bucks if you somehow lost both of them.

Here's my carry combo. I carry these same ones every day. I own other knives and tools but I always go back to these.
