Concealed Carry Gun or not...

Glock 21 fullsize 45 cal,
Glock 30 subcompact 45cal
I have a concealed carry permit in ms. Thats a nice pic of Rock from powerline kennels u got there teague, I had two males from him when I was breeding pits. Razors edge is an awesome bloodline.

I'm going to get my Carry permit soon. I bought a Sig P229 in 357sig just for the occasion. I'm wondering now if I shouldn't have bought something even smaller.

I carry a PF-9 daily, IWB in a Comp-tac Minotaur holster. I like the setup very much.

I was very excited to begin working for a very outdoorsy company, which also lacked a set of company rules that would naturally outlaw the carry of a gun. Until... I found out my boss is totally against handguns. He said "they are only made for killing people", to which I responded "what about self-defense?". He said "same thing, killing people". I'd rather that he be against all guns and support self-defense. I worry about getting caught, so I'm constantly very hot in the office, wearing a long-sleeved shirt over a T-shirt. Anti-gun people drive me crazy.

Glock 23 stoked with Federal Hydra-Shok 165 gr carried in a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC holster. Benchmade 3550 Auto or Griptilian in support side pocket. Every day, everywhere. I don't need a permit. Thanks LEOSA!

Glock 23 which I alternate a 9mm conversion barrel in, with surefire x200 in a raven concealment holster. Actually pulled mine the other day, luckily for the idiot and me it wasn't used.

I guess I'm in the minority around here. I've never felt the need to carry a gun for any reason...
And you will continue on in life, NOT feeling the need for a gun, as I do (I haven't felt the need for a gun), until the day that you truly NEED a gun. At that point, if you ever encounter a situation where you really need a gun, you will either have a gun on your person and have a fighting chance, or you will likely be killed with no mercy. Sorry to be blunt, but that is the reason I and many others carry a gun for self defense.

P.S. At the time when a gun becomes the only thing between saving an innocent life and death at the hands of a crazed killer, it might not be your own life you are saving.

ShooterMcgavin hit the nail right on the head. I tell my students that you don't carry a credit card with the intent on spending, but it is nice to have just in case, like a gun. It is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I have a Florida Concealed Weapons License.
I carry either a Glock 23, Glock 26, or a Taurus 850.
I usually carry the Taurus because of the size and weight of the gun. I carry inside the waistband and it seems to be the one I will stick with. I keep it loaded with 125gr. Corbon .38 Special +p. Looking at getting a speed strip that will give me another reload of 5 rounds to carry in the back pocket.
In the 23, I keep it loaded with Speer Gold Dot 180gr.
The 26 gets 124 gr. +p in either Gold Dot or Winchester 115 +p Ranger's.

I totally understand the need and want to carry a gun, but unfortunately, I never do. I have my cc permit in PA but never carry. I am not sure why, I think it is more laziness than anything else. I never leave the house without a knife, but a gun just seems to be more than I want to carry. I agree that a gun is like any other tool, invaluable when you need it. I guess that I have my guns more or less for home protection. I dont ever venture into the city, I live in the sticks and work in a small town. Not that something bad couldnt happen. When I backpack in PA I carry a 22 bobcat, cause it is lightweight. I dont carry it when out of state though, which is most of my backpacking (wv)

I have an OK CCW permit and usually carry IWB in the summer, OWB in the winter.
Dangerous times we live in.
