Speaking of Bark River, here's a 3V Ambush Tundra they made next to some S!K's. See that huge bevel? That's at 20 dps. It's so steep of a grind it is ridiculously obtuse.

This isn't the Bark River forum. Nor is it the "Woo I'm smarter than Survive!Knife customers" forum.
:Drï is a face ok though. All I am saying it is is not rocket science. Tool and die vs. economics.
By the way this is not a barkriver forum.

FWIW, the Ambush knife that I purchased (and promptly sold) and the ones that I saw / fondled at Blade had very poor fit and finish. The grinds were inconsistent and the ergos sucked. REALLY, REALLY SUCKED. They are not even close to being in the same league as S!K.

Is that a German thing? The tildes throw me off. If it's not rocket science, and it's not German, let's hear about your new company that has people lined up and waiting for your new offering.

A ugly thick knife cuts better then a non existent one.

All I am pointing out is they are not crazy hard to make. Its not like I have not designed something, got the material, had it made or made it before. Simply responding to the initial complait with ovservations.

Actually the ergos on my alpha are fine. Great even. Good balance too.

Crap grinds though. Took a lot of work to fix them.

That sir, is a matter of perspective. I paid $220 for a 3V knife with an absolutely unusable, ever, Ambush Tundra profile. I would've expected to
have waited to have somebody like Guy look at that thing and say "Oh shit" Not, 'Is it damaged?". Eff that, ain't nobody got time for that. I contacted TKC, they had an instant replacement ready. There's a reason the Ambush Knives are selling so cheap, be alert.

Make them then. Why are you here with the competition?

Sorry timi, I was replying to the least of the GSX-R's. I don't pretend to understand
their process that you shared.

You need turbo 750 parts?
I think you are missing what I am saying. The way they are produced it would not be impossible to increase production. I am not talking about anything but the process. It not like one blade gets made at one time.

I don't think I am. Have you done anything like what Survive! does with their knives? Do you finish every single piece of product in your mitts before it goes out? Do you kick back a significant % because it doesn't meet your specs, even if the customers won't even notice them?
