Im not gonna read 30 pages. I don't have too. its pretty clear this company is shady as hell. they are living off of money that has been paid for knives that have not been made yet. Its horseshit. It is illegal in some states. JUST SAY NO. They are laser cut knives heat treated out of house. sounds like a bunch of hype that got carried away.
Wait,, YOURE his friend with the incriminating evidence aren't you???
hahahahah
Oh this thread is horrible and awesome at the same time

Watercut knives, actually, with fantastic ergos, top-shelf materials, great designs, superb sheaths, great grinds, and crazy edges. They're worth the money. There's no misplaced hype where it concerns their products.

It seems like they've simply slid into a very bad backlog hole, and aren't handling it very well at all. I see them as a company in trouble with bad coping skills, not a machiavellian den of thieves.

That's a far cry from deserving the amount of rage that's being directed at them. Dissatisfaction and frustration, I get. But not the hate and rage that's bubbling out. Which is a bit weird.

Lying and deception equates to anger and rage. End of debate.

this whole deal is like a bad car wreck. Don't really want to look, but I must. What is so special about these knives. ?

Already explained. There's an ENTIRE subforum on the merits of the actual knives. Go do your own homework. If you have no prior experience or interest with the products or company, what are you doing here, adding further noise to the signal of this thread?

Alot of knife production companies cant stand this group. One in particular said we're a bunch of crybaby snitches.

Hold on, just so I'm following. You're also suggesting there are large knife companies that are upset with people posting on this thread/about this topic?

This seems very reasonable so I feel my next question is a valid one. What exactly did these companies divulge to you? Did they tell you that this thread should be closed for the sake of the knifes industry?

There are 3 companies in the top echelon of "Hard Use" IMO.
Busse
Carothers Performance
Survive!

(Dan Keffler doesn't make production blades, otherwise I'd throw him in there as well)

Carothers and Survive are very much new companies, but both are putting out stellar blades in the Delta 3V HT protocol.

The last time I provided solid evidence regarding another knife manufacturer shady business practices... i had multiple people from this group that ran there their mouth to that company. next thing you know I had two attorneys calling me and threatening lawsuits. he is aware of that. And that's probably the reason why he's going to back out providing more information about survive knives. Feel free to contact Peter that does all the Heat Treating and maybe he'll provide that information to you. Until then moderators need to seriously consider shutting down the whole entire survive knives thread.
Wait what !, shut down the survive knives thread !? Did I miss something here ?,this is pretty much the only reason I joined bf, also I have ordered 2 knives in the last year and received them both within 2 months of ordering and I will tell you that after handling and then using both knives I don't care if it takes 2 years to get my 4.1 ! To get this craftsmanship for the price is ridiculous

Nope. Just dealing with these companies personally. This site produces a lot of over demanding crybabjes that like to use this forum as a source when they call these companies to complain about their knives. "I read on blade forums that your liner locks are made out of chinese steel not titanium".
