Couldn't one of the regular guys here offer to become a moderator?
Morrow and Rev have enough on their hands I'm sure, as great a job they already do :thumbup:
 
There is no Redemption for companies that lie to and deceive their customers. They can give me every knife model they make for free to make up for their lies and deception and I would still talk trash about the company. Yeah it's that serious

Just to clarify, here, for all of us: are you on a crusade to sink the company? Or just to get your knives/refunds/whatever from them? Or to do what exactly?

I think a lot of us here are frustrated (some extremely, it seems), but you consistently step beyond stating logically supported opinions into the realm of near-religious condemnation of their business. Which makes it challenging to determine what exactly you're trying to say.

Yes, in my opinion S!K is consistently making bad customer service mistakes, and yes, that needs to be discussed and remedied, but that doesn't seem to be the discussion that you want to participate in.

What would you like to see happen here?

I believe, for a Manufacturer's Forum, the manufacturer supplies a company rep to moderate the forum, do they not? I was under the belief that was a prerequisite for having a manufacturer forum.

I do think the company pics someone,, but usually someone already on the forum,, like in the case of Jaxx over at Busse

I absolutely want to Rally disgruntled customers of survive knives to sink the company. when you lie to and deceive your customers you don't deserve to be in business. There is no Redemption.

Can someone please drop the ban hammer on this guy.
His intentions are pretty obvious, he's yet to add anything resembling civil discussion, and has cursed several times.
We also gave the opportunity to go over to wine and cheese if you wanted to use that language and he still decided to do it here against the moderators demands.

I don't think anyone here has a problem with people expressing their concern or displeasure with the company, but it's all in how you do it

Interesting point...Jerry Busse is among the Busse mods....possibly they can choose a member to mod also after they have provided a company rep.

As a customer, i have every right to show my absolute disgust with survive knives. Theyve lied to me and shoe stringed me for months to keep me as a customer. There is no redemption.

Over and over and over again.
Move on. Or go to W and C and start your own "no redemption thread".
This is not the place for a crusade. You are not rallying people to join your cause. You are actually making people put you on ignore with your incessant droning.

Sure you do. But not in the manner you are, on a privately owned forum. With conduct rules. The way you're going at it, you're not winning friends and/or influencing people here. If you're truly on a crusade to sink the company, as you've claimed, you're going about it in a totally counterproductive manner, and alienating literally everyone who might potentially agree with part of what you're saying.

Throwing a juvenile and ongoing tantrum is not going to get you anything you want. Why can't you stop?

I'll second that. Please could Esav/Morrow/anyone at least give this guy a final warning or ban him from the SURVIVE! manufacturers forum.

I really couldn't care if he personally attacks me because of what I've just written, but I really don't want this thread or subforum closed just because of one indivdual! As I've said before, there's been some very informative posts even within this thread. Thanks for starting it ncrockclimb!
 
In a thread like this, IMO there should really only be two reasons for posting and everything else is spam.
a) You have some specific NEW point or information to add to the discussion.
b) You are refuting an erroneous claim and want set the record straight with facts. or strong evidence.

That's it...

Timichango has done such a fine job of taking the words out of my mouth on refuting, I haven't even had a need to post and raise my stress level (thanks Timichango);)

That said, I will be adding some new information here (hopefully) soon on some refund requests.. I'll keep you guys posted.
