I could use another blade like an extra hole in the head but I just don't even bother resisting. The ones I have are worth the wait. For the frustrated posters, I feel your pain. It has always been worth it for me, I hope it is for you too. They really are nice tools.

You need to chill out man, that language will get you an infraction quick

Unfortunately this thread has brought out the worst in people, civil discourse with sprinkle of anger and lunacy.
I feel like everyone has gotten their chance to say what they think, I don't see it getting any better, it wouldn't be the worst thing if it got locked down for good,, just my opinion.

Please, guys, this is Ellie and Guy's forum. I would rather stay out. But a lot of you are keeping up a good conversation, and you deserve some backup. I hope we we will see a couple of S!K moderators here.

Meanwhile -- my battle cry -- Less Heat, More Light! Keep the cursing to a minimum, and don't quote it when someone else freaks out. Thanks

Thanks, Esav.

Honestly, I'm probably also in favour of shutting the thread down at this point. I don't expect that there's new information forthcoming, and we're all whipping the horse's eyes at this point. Not sure what further debate there is to have on the topic.

Kinda feel like any new information that comes to light can either find a venue in a new thread, or in the ongoing GBU thread, if that's a more appropriate place.

Just my $0.02. I'm only speaking for myself here.

Im new to Survive knives and currently in the market for around a 3 inch fixed blade. Looking on their site I see the 2.7 blade has options to choose from.
So Im guessing they are available for order. After reading the long lead times I was wondering is that just for a certain model or is that for any knife that
is ordered. Am I better off trying to find one second hand? THanks

Great post, OP. Similar thoughts have continued to prevent me from purchasing a S!K knife, especially given the number of great alternative knife makers.

This is an odd thread to ask such a question in but I'll try to answer.
Do you need a knife by a particular date?
Some of the 2.7 have been shipped, and many more will be shipped over the next few months, but if you need delivery anytime soon the secondary market is your best bet.

Sorry Esav, was checking back and forth with the news and didn't think about that. I'll get it edited. Thanks.

I haven't received mine yet. S!K said a couple of days, which would have been yesterday, so they will be getting a phone call from me soon!

Ok thanks, let us know what they say. I am waiting on mine still too. I dont understand the delay as Paypal refunds are usually instant.

I emailed last Wednesday about a refund, and got a response that it will take a few days to process. I am hoping to hear something back very soon. I will make a call to them next if I do not hear from them in the next day or two.

Did you receive your refund yet Bapple?

I have not yet received my refund. Tomorrow will have been 9 days since I was told it would be a few days. I have sent 3 emails, with the last 2 getting no reply at all. I will be making a phone call to them tomorrow as I myself do not understand the delay. Will keep you posted.

I Too have not received my refund yet. Been about a week from when I was told it would take a couple of days. Normally I wouldn't be worried but admit I am getting concerned seeing a number of people have NOT gotten their refund yet. Please update us on the phone call.

On a separate issue/order
I have NOT received my Monday 2nd knife order or shipping notice that I was told two weeks ago (at which point it was already a month past 15 Days) that it would be shipping in one to two weeks. Well, tomorrow marks two weeks past when I was told. Oh, and I was the one that called up SK when I was already a month past 15 days, they did not notify me.

They told me "a few days" as well and I am getting a little annoyed. Many people in this thread have said if your not happy "ask for a refund". Well, here is at least five of us, in this thread alone, that have asked for a refund and we are not getting it. I am going to call tomorrow as well and will post the outcome here as well.

Or, maybe Ellie can chime in and let us know whats going on? Thanks.

Edit: that makes 5 of us

I believe if you have a stated refund policy then the customer should not have to harass the refund out of you. Please spare the they are busy grinding, mopping, playing tic tac toe excuse, if you are to busy to service your customers then you should probably reassess your self defeating business strategy. Customers can return but they certainly won't if they feel you are ignoring them or intentionally delaying processing a refund.
