I have bad news. There will be no more Bucksaw Bacon for shipping. Shaymanx yours is on the way but will be the last. Shipping is just too expensive for the cold stuff. The spices and seasonings will still be available of course.
Sorry, it just makes no business sense to try to ship cold things.

Ah bummer! I understand though - I am sure it is spendy.

That`s the same problem Connie had when trying to ship those candy bouquets.

OMG!Say it ain't so. :(
I'm hooked man,I gotta have my BuckSaw Bacon!Waaaaaaaaa........:sorrow:

Oh well,it sure was good while it lasted.

Now you can concentrate on the Jerky,(crossed fingers)at least it doesn't need to be cold shipped.

Great idea. We will work on that.
Thanks for understanding. If you ever come down the Oregon coast, we will make sure we have some available for local pickup.

Just placed my order for Landlubber Mix, Mountain Mix, High Tide Sea Salt, and Table Mountain Pepper, all in the shaker bottles. This is some good stuff!

Try some of the salt on any type of melon.
I put some alder smoked Cape Perpetua Sea Salt on some cantaloupe & man that was some good stuff.
I'll be doing some steaks with Mtn.Mix tonight & I bought some more cantaloupe for desert.MmMmGood.

i got my package yesterday. i couldn't decide on the salts or peppers, so i got a sample of all of 'em! i'll decide what i like best and then order that. i am really looking forward to trying that Devil's Punchbowl taco seasoning.

Crazy man,crazy.

you're crazy! :D i know you're not a fan of the spicy. i might try it tonight! i got me some new spices and MQQN was nice enough to send me some of john's kitchen knives to play with. sounds like i better get to cooking tonight!

I stopped at the store yesterday after work & was checking out some steaks to try the Mountain Mix on,but all the Beef T Bones were way too scrawny for me.
I didn't see the right one until I got to the end of the meat display & noticed some great looking T Bones with plenty of meat on both sides of the T,but they were Buffalo & priced a bit more than the beef steaks.
I said what the heck,I'm worth it & I hadn't had a good steak for quite awhile & was jonesing for one so I went for it.....
And boy was it worth it.
Buffalo T Bone with Mountain Mix,baked potato with butter, sprinkled with Table Mountain Pepper and for desert..cantaloupe with a bit of Gale Wind Sea Salt.

Before the carnage....

Mid carnage, getting kinda full here, but man I can't stop now!
The Mountain Mix was perfect on the Buffalo, not too overpowering but very tasty.

And the aftermath..ahhhhhh that was good!
T is for Toby's Knife,a great steak knife it is.

Desert!
If like me,you like salt on your cantaloupe, you gotta try some smokey Gale Wind Sea Salt,it's more subtle than the Cape Perpetua Sea Salt I had on the last cantaloupe.Being Cherry wood smoked,it adds just a hint of smokey flavor, while the Alder Wood smoked Perpetua reminded me of the smoked Salmon that is so plentiful up here. Not to say it is fishy,it just has a stronger smokey flavor & would be perfect on a fish dish.
Yeah..I said fish dish.;)

Thank you Chef Karen!
I can't wait to try the Landlubber Mix on some pork chops.

Looks awesome! I used up all my salt and pepper - I was using it on everything! I loved it on watermelon, and I do also salt (and pepper) my cantaloupe.

thanks for the pics!!
