(LEO and gun writer) Masaad Ayoob have written several articles on the subject.I have often heard it said that a judge will look poorly on a name that sounds overly agressive, militaristic or shogun assassiny. At the same time it can be hard to remember names when you are a fan of many companies who use numbers as their naming convention.
Spyderco seems to do a pretty good job of not giving its knives violent names.
More fighting knives named “the snuggly bunny” plz.

According to MA, it is beyond any shadow of a doubt, that a gun being of a model name and/or emblazoned with 'Terminator,' 'Death Dealer,' 'Punisher' or any other silly tacticlol name gun companies or owners can come up with, will be to the distinct disadvantage for the owner/user in a court room, as its pure gold for the prosecutors who will paint you as a murderous loon for having a gun like that.
Self defense or no self defense - it has been known to land people in hot water.
Same applies for knives.
But I digress - back to regular scheduled programming.

Hehe Lynnja.. I think it's safe to assume Mr T has thought about something along these lines.I am surprised they don't have "Massmurderer" "Pigdestroyer" or "Bloodbath XL" or even the "Lynnja" perhaps next year...![]()

Ok, so it's not a knife, but my favorite name for a recently released item is Elon Musk's "Not a Flamethrower".
Also, not a brand name, but I like the word "puukko". It's the sound the knife makes when you use it!
Hmmm, seems to know a little.

If anyone can actually cite a real case where this has happened, I just might start to believe him. He also says reloads used in SD will land you in jail. He is a life long writer, competitive shooter, firearms instructor and a Part Time Cop in rural New Hampshire. I take his advice with a grain of salt.
