My grandfather always drank Henry McKenna. Back in the day it was in a bottle with embossed letters painted with gold. He promised my grandmother he wouldn’t drink it straight. So, he would crack open a can of Coke and put the smallest splash possible there.

I’m sincerely envious. My first and last bottle of Eagle Rare is truly rare around here. Your Shiv 2.0 is rare, as well, and absolutely gorgeous. I’m grateful to have the same configuration. Next time I find a bottle of that delicious 10 yr, I’ll post the same combo. Enjoy !

I’ve gotten extremely lucky and have been able to find a few bottles around locally. Keep your eyes peeled I still think it’s one of the best bourbons for the money!

Thank you sir! The Shiv is a CPK marvel and to me the trio/family of Shiv, UF, and DEK 1 are my favorites! I have some purple Ti hardware that will be going on soon!
