After a day or so I think I prefer the EDC blade profile a bit more right now. The point being on center makes for drilling a bit easier for me. I’ll keep using both the help make a personal decision
 
I need to get some pictures maybe in the next few days ... but I have to say I carried one of the EDC2s all day today cutting and clearing dead trees and I used it every chance I could find a reason too ... from taking breaks shaving wood to cutting up lunch and every little chore I could justify getting it out ...

All I can say is I am impressed ... after worrying it might be a bit small for my hand and uses ... it is not only comfortable but it works far beyond it's size ... to borrow an old boxing phrase "it punches way above it's weight class" ...

I am looking forward to getting a FK or HDFK ... but couldn't be happier with how the EDC2 performs ... and the design and ergos are heads and shoulders above most knives it's size that I've had a chance to use ... no hand fatigue at all ...

just wanted to let everyone with CPK know they have a winner (not that they didn't know far better then me already) ... but a big :thumbsup: from me ... JJ
 
How are we doing on the pre-order shipments? The last I heard, I am #107 IIRC.

IIRC, there was a post from Jo stating that most folks on the 3rd page of the preorder ought to be next after the last Friday's sale units were shipped out. In the meantime, there was this posting by Nathan:

Hey Mike, that’s great news. Jo must’ve shipped a few out on the 3rd page keeping true to her words but most likely was way too busy to update the shipping status.

I can't say for sure, since I only have the Mashed Cat pancake, but I'm sure it's great too! (This is making me hungry...) The MC is awesome, and my Azwelke EDC2 is an improvement to the EDC1 in terms of retention and finish, but it might be because of the type of kydex and sample. With MC you have to send your knife to a sheath, but Azwelke has templates so you don't have to, which saves money and time.
