Ah so…the residual charge stored up in the insulators powered up the Christmas lights for this little tree. Clever! At least up until the power surge that did the tree in…which of course then required “ginger” swings of the lightweight tree removal tool to avoid a dog that wanted to help in this “prevent forest fires” effort. There WAS s story in those two photos after all!![]()
