When I lost my Weimaraner to cancer 11 years ago, I intended to get a GSP but it didn't work out that way.
We lost our "Skyler" to cancer a year ago, September.
Great looking GSP! I've had a few of them through the years, everyone of 'em a damn good dog.
Glad he's okay.Kobe had a miserable night last night, so I had a miserable night with him until he finally fell asleep at 5 a.m. allowing me to get an hour myself.
Not sure if he got into something in the environment undetected by us, or if it's a reaction to his dose, a day and a half earlier, of his flea / tick. (But he had that prescription once before with no issues.)
Hyperventilated, drooled and tried to hide under the bed or any other place he could get into. Shook slightly too.
This morning it's like it never happened. Full appetite, drank water, ran to get his toy. Sheesh. I wish they could talk.
I believe that's included in his annual.Glad he's okay.
Do you get him vaccinated for lepto?
Really hope you find what is causing all thisWell, after two days without, Kobe had another episode yesterday evening for a few hours. Guess I'm going to have to bring him in to the vet for some tests to see if we can determine what the matter is. It's exhausting...for the poor boy...and for us.
On the bright side, he slept fine in the night and appears good right now. But, given the two days between episodes, something is clearly amiss.
I'm so sorry to hear thisSo my buddy Rufus has lost a lot of weight over the last month 8 or so lbs and started around 35. Friday we got all the test results his liver has stop working he is 15 years old. He is still in good spirits and is getting around ok but it’s been hard on all of us we are going to see how he feels and acts over the next few weeks. It’s going to be a hard decision of when to put him down don’t want him to suffer but the tail keeps wagging.
