I wish I would have seen and jumped on this when it started these look awesome.
Thanks! I wish I could have taken about 40 orders on these.

You guys put a lot of trust in me and I appreciate that. I always want my work to be better than expected. :D

Yes, I wish I'd seen this thread on time as well! (And been quick enough... ;))

Thanks ni!s! I want to do more sign up runs this year so look out! I have a lot going on right now but Damascus Mini-dashis are in the plans, also very limited amounts of S7 prybars and S7 dashis. I'm making the mega RF2 soon though... look out! :D

I'm German and I want German steel!
But, not rostfrie. :D

Jah Rostfrie! bop!

I have a pic of a Katana that is just ancient and has the Solingen mark. Interesting stuff, I need to find the book. It was reground and the mark is upside down.

Yes it is! As we know Japan was completely cut off from the rest of the world for a long time... apparently different smiths way back then advertised if they has a special steel source. Some really early Katanas were even made of high Vanadium Wootz from India.

My prospector friends smelter was so good he had the FBI come check it out, some ATM's were stolen here a ways back and they thought it might be a good way to get rid of evidence! I wish we could have kept the smelter and cooked up some steel. When I worked with him we were metal collecting maniacs! He owns a really huge Gold mine but does wacky stuff like process 1000's of computers... has a massive trailer full of boards to jig for gold. In his spare time he digs dinosaurs... one of the only people that knows the paperwork and can actually find them. (on the res and he is Native) He restored a Triceratops once! He also trains the guys who teach off roading here, lol. I have stories about this guy for days...

Damn, wish I would've seen this sooner too! Beautiful workmanship! We can all tell a lot of blood, sweat, and tears goes into one of your knives. If the extras aren't already spoken for, I'll gladly take one off your hands!

Sheaths molded! I should have the sheaths finished up by tomorrow morning then it is time for sharpening! :D

Thanks for the kind words Rusky! It looks like all are spoken for here but luckily some will be available at Empire Outfitter pretty soon.
