I recently just missed catching a quick pic or video of a Cicada Killer (Ground Wasp/Hornet) dragging its prey back into its dungeon for feeding time.

When I got to my fishing spot I saw a flock of ducks on the water. Then realized there was something the size of a kid sitting in the tree in front of me. It was a White Tailled Eagle, wingspan 7-8ft. Didn't notice me as it was keenly watching the ducks. Suddenly saw me and took off, and the flock of ducks went completely crazy.

My daughter was poking this hole in the tree with a stick so I pulled the bark back a bit and found this...I think it's an Eastern Bark Centipede...pretty cool.
