Neat. I saw a show about them a while back. Apparently thriving somewhat in the northeast

Saw this unfold as the agressor lept from a low tree onto the other below. I did separate them after the photo....

Interesting colours on that big girl, down in VIC ours are always black.

Walking the trails today and saw some fresh evidence.

There's a porcupine up there ~

As I load the woodburner here, I find "Bug Art" as bark falls away from firewood.

Australian Bull Ant. They have great vision and actively attack intruders.
