Had this little guy pop up about 50' away while I was hunting this morning:

How time goes by! Daisy and I've been camping since snowy April in what I call meadow camp.

Apparently there is much love amongst the pale tussock moth caterpillars for the terry towels hung on the tree by the "sink". Two or three per towel ...need flicking, before washing. 🐛🐛IMG_20240828_170702500_HDR.jpg
 
Well, Daisy and I will be overwintering here at meadow camp, or at worst we will be making one heck of an attempt at this effort to realize item #2 on my bucket list .. camping through the Canadian winter 😬. Woolly bear, woolly bear .... how harsh will the winter will be?

This little Muppet landed in my dust pan as I swept out the my summer tent yesterday before the rain.
