Crystal Meth and Wilderness Survival

How could anyone do that to an animal? I'll kill an animal in a heartbeat that I need for food, is a threat or is suffering, but that? I know how people could do it, I've encountered people like that...I'm just thinking out loud.

A couple weeks ago some rather optimistic people were commenting that some of the stuff in the book, "The Road" were a little over the top because people couldn't sink that low. Look how low they can sink when they don't even have to.

You know, they really are a bunch of asshats, but they didn't take these things from you.

Politicians and law enforcement keep "controlling" and banning things but it's so funny, really...the meth monkeys...they keep cooking the meth. How is that?

"Controlling" Sudafed, HEET, Blue Diamond Matches, Lithium Batteries and all of these other things is the same thing as gun control. Who does it hurt? It's not even putting a dent in the meth game.

Who was it that said "necessity" was the plea of every tyrant or something like that and all... :)

Absolutely. :thumbup::thumbup:

Well actually I totally agree with you.

HD,
That pic of the dog litterally choked me up, good on ya for taking care of him. People that do things like that should have the exact thing done to them. Chris

The Big Dog is quite a character. He fully recovered from all the injuries but he's old and limps some. I have owned 3 pyrs before him and the oldest one lived to 8. At 12 years he is "dead man walking"

He loves cats but hates my donkey. He can't see very well and if you walk down the road and he sees you he will run out barking with a huge deep bark till he recognizes you.

When he is hungry and begging he will come up to your and shiver and chatter his teeth even if it's 90 outside.

He's a total ham and loves attention.

You know i have been searching for strike any where matches for weeks, hell o pete no wonder there is none,so they are using heet well thatz cool,it will be gone so whatz next the alcohol stoves running on white gas.........kaboom.

Maybe meth producers will start growing their raw materials.
Ephedra has been used in herbal mixtures for centuries, and
has recently caused concern in the USA. Since ephedra is an
upper, people with high blood pressure should be wary of it.

I have never processed this herb so cannot say too much for sure.
I believe some of it has a very sandy texture, on the inside.
Most of it reminds me of little green bamboo, because it is jointed.

One type is called horsetail. This is typical of what I have seen all over the
Great Plains states. It grows in the sand of intermittent streams or margins.

Not around here. Neither of the 3 Lowe's I went to nor the 1 home depot stock it anymore.

Have you considered that the people you are asking for help may just be clueless?

I can still get alcohol at Home depot by the gallon in the paint section, but the label is "Methyl hydrate". also known as Methanol, wood alcohol, rubbing alcohol...

I can ask a dozen employees and not have ever heard of it.

Acetone is in the paint section of an auto parts store.

Nitre bluing salts are just about impossible though...and when I ask for salt-petre I always get asked if I'm going to make black powder...no you fools I can BUY black powder...I just can't buy nitre salts.

HD i feel your pain...hawaii is really cracking down as well on common products as well.....its a shame.

glad to see Tucker hung in there....i hate abusive people.

I can make high explosives out of what you have in your spices cabinet. If you live in fear as to the repercussions for purchasing or having in your possession potentially dangerous materials, you wouldn't be able to walk into any retail store in North America. We used to call Walmart the One Stop Bomb Shop...

yep, well, i'm getting tired of being questioned by store managers and having to produce ID (which they record) when i buy acetone or methyl hydrate or similar in more than 2 liter quantities.

Ask to sign for it on their record sheet, next to your name print clearly,
"CAMP STOVE FUEL."

F*ckers.

You can also get denatured alcohol at paint stores like sherwin williams, last week I went to a hobby lobby to buy some small ziploc baggies (2in x 3in) to store char cloth I made in and got a funny look from the sales girl. They only came in a package of 100 count for $2.00.

Forget strike anywhere matches, you have to be 19 to buy any kind of matches or lighters in NJ, aside from those great big grill starters or fireplace matches. I went into the drug store to find some lighter fluid and flints for my Zippo and they made me show my ID. It does so much to stop smoking in young people too. Why just the other day I saw a twelve to thirteen year old kid lighting up and sharing a smoke with a bunch of senior citizens outside the mall... oh wait.
