Very nice Guyon. I may yet have to locate one of those 12OTs. I especially like the color variation of the Case blade steel.

And a Colonial, it comes in at 3" so not sure if it qualifies as a true nut...

Nice peanuts Pete, that damascus one is a beauty  Congrats.

Thanks my friend, the Camillus & Colonial are from the flea market, i've posted them before, I figured I would update with my new Case Damascus nut, my wife and daughter treat me well, that's where all my new knives come from :-)

With the arrival of the appaloosa and the departure of the Camillus pony jack I now have these three peanut style knives:

Here you can barely make out what tipped me over the edge to get the appaloosa, it has the serial number 3577 on the front bolster. That is the same as the numerical portion of the serial number on my 1997 Smith & Wesson 686 revolver.

What a wonderful knife, this Peanut with the Appaloosa Bone. I´ve seen it at Case´s knives before, but it looks just great. A really wonderful knife.

And a good addition to your collection of 'nuts, btw... ;)

Thank you Andi.

It is really hard to capture the true beauty of the appaloosa bone with the equipment and skill level that I have. The pile side especially keeps coming out too dark.

I know you are supposed to avoid direct sunlight, but its use in the next two photos will hopefully reveal a bit more of the detail in these handles.

Super fine peanut collections, Pete and Doug. I believe you are now both commanding officers in the peanut regiment!!

Wow! What a beautiful little knife. What I really love is, aside form having that absolutely 'knock your socks off' gorgeous bone, they had the good taste to leave the shield off! On small knives like peanuts, there should be no shield to obstruct the view.

Carl.

might have missed it
but is this little beauty carbon or stainless?

I recently gifted my newly acquired and newly highly favored peanut to my girlfriend because one of her secret santa presents didnt pan out. It was an emergency gift to her for someone else.
I wonder if I'll be able to find one similar. It was so purdy :(
hopefully he will learn to love it. He didnt seem too excited about it.

Friends, I am overjoyed to be able to tell you that I am now in a position to beg admission to the Cult, thanks to the generosity of my friend and sponsor Stitch2442 :)

I received a package from Pete today, sent sometime before Christmas, but delayed in the post. Inside was this beautiful little Kabar Peanut, a lovely knife, which of course means all the more to me because it was generously given by a knife-loving friend.

Many thanks Pete.

Gentlemen (and ladies), I am honoured to walk among you.

Jack

Jack - welcome at The Cult Of The Peanut... ;)

They are nice little knives :) and especially those KaBars are not as broad as the Case ones. I´m sure you enjoy it! Nice gesture, Pete :)

Real gentlemen in here....
