Ok, so after a few days of carrying the peanut I understand why lots of folks are enamored of it. It really is an easily carried, very capable knife. I like it! :)

Yay! Another convert! [emoji106] I'm glad you like your peanut. I honestly think I like my peanuts more and more every day. I even have my significant other carrying a Case yellow peanut in cv these days. [emoji4]

After perusing through this thread on several occasions you all have done it. I think I will add the trusty peanut to my want list. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit I've never owned one. I don't know why because it's similar in size to other small traditional knives I edc. Like the little 12OT. Let me go sweet talk Mrs. Claus :).

You'll not regret it - the Peanut is a wonderful little companion and fully up to 90% of daily cutting tasks for most of us today. When I need to perform heavier tasks my large Stockman's sheepfoot blade often gets the nod. On those less common occasions when it's trending towards more rough use the Sodbuster gets dropped into my pocket. When downright abusive work is to be done it's a fixed blade. Beyond that I find the Peanut to be plenty for the majority of average small daily tasks we need a pocket knife for.

This Peanut is anxiously awaiting package and tag cutting on Sunday morning.

My old trusty circle C in bluegrass bone, still going strong after almost a decade of carry. Pocket wear on the bone, both in texture and color has really progressed, can't wait to see what it is after another 10!
