Wow! That is one bright orange!! What kind of batteries does that thing take.:D

All kidding aside, those are some pointy blades. Very very nice 'nut.:thumbup::thumbup:

Same thing happened to me. As stupid as it sounds its philosophically enlightening. My focus shifted away from the tool itself and all of ys particulars to the usefulness of the tool and when I had digested that the only answer for me was to edc a traditional because that's all that I need.

I ordered my first peanut yesterday, thanks to this thread, and it should be here this week. Its a case ss with brown delerin handles. I cant wait!!!!!!!

I seen some peanuts on ebay from the CV series. Are those blades not stainless? Or are they stainless like most Case knives are these days?

CV series blades are not stainless so they need to be kept oiled to reduce corrosion. The Case stainless steel blades are IDed with the SS in the tang stamp.

Love that AG Russell!

I added a couple small ones over the summer and finally took some pics, first is a single blade stainless Camillus Yello-Jaket:

A few months ago, i thought: What an uggly little thing, that's no REAL knife, but a toy for kids only!

Today, after toting it for a while, i can understand the owners of this masterpiece of american cutlery.
What a wonderful GREAT little beauty she is... i love her very much.

Yes, a real KNIFE!

Fits into every pocket, is sharp like hell and does 99% of all the tasks, an city-indian like me has to do :)

Congrats Old Boy!!

At Last

At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
At last the skies above are blue
And my heart was wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you
I found a dream that I can speak to
A dream that I could call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known
You smiled, and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
And you are mine at last

I've got a yellow handle CV that should be in tomorrow and I can't wait. I've never had a peanut but I have a feeling this could be my first of many. In fact I'm already planning my second.

Paul, those scales are subtle but look great.

Mr P, that 10 dot is jaw dropping gorgeous! Double thumbs-up.:thumbup:

Thank you J, I appreciate that...

Thanks as well Dan, it's been a CASE I've been after and when it popped up on the exchange I had to act fast :) When it arrived I was and am very pleased. Covers are equal thickness (always a concern with Stag) and everything about the lil "nut" is just right

I never really warmed to the peanut, seems they always like to bite me. I've bought a couple, tried them and gave them to my wife for her collection. Then I spied this little fella' in the exchange...hmmm, single blade, Damascus steel, and stag...maybe...

I'm giving this one a shot, riding in the watch pocket, and just letting bygones be bygones...a little ride across my stones and this is one sharp little bugger ;) easily pierces about 30 pages of phone book paper and slices clean, the stag has a little swell in the middle so it affords a workable grip for me...we shall see...
