I had a nice Case Peanut (red Pocket Worn, IIRC), used it a while, and then gave it away. It wasn't really for me. I miss it terribly! I carry these when the 'nut urge needs to be scratched. Old Timer and Moore Maker (single blade). I need a Case!

I have got to become a member of this club. Searching places around where I live but no luck yet.
I think a great knife especially for summer shorts carry.

Have any of you ladies and gentlemen had hands on a Northwoods peanut? I have been looking at them online but they are mighty pricey and the online retailer charges a fortune to ship to the UK.
They look very nice, and if it was worth while I would consider it depending on reviews from the cult and the opinions of the hive mind.

Love that oldtimer! I think I need to start hunting one. Steven

I blame Mr. Carl for this.

Jeez, LOL! I just got my 3rd in the mail today. :)

Anyone ever had a Peanut pimped? I got a Stag Peanut today and I was wanting to have the blades etched to be dark gray/black, and maybe some swedges added to the pen blade. I thought about attempting it myself, but I would probably ruin it. I just think a dark blade would contrast very nicely against the light stag.

I would like to apply for membership in the cult, please. :) I won a smooth chestnut bone peanut off the big auction site the other day and am eagerly tracking the package as it *slowly* works its way to me. I might have also broke down and ordered a yellow handled CV peanut earlier this evening. This is a sick disease when you are ordering more before you even get the first!

Finally snagged a German Peanut from the Olbertz factory, a Bulldog in stag, can't wait 'til it gets here!

I have Peanuts from Case, Queen, Schatt & Morgan, A.G. Russell, and Camillus, I'm interested in seeing how the Bulldog compares in length/width and blades. The two Queen made are "reverse" Peanuts, and the Camillus is a single bladed Yello-Jaket. Sharpest out of the box is the Russell, and my favorite is the Case stag/damascus.

I love these little buggers, and now that I've seen Powernoodle's G10 covered version I want one :D

Can I join? This is my peanut:

It's not a "Premier" Premier. There used to be a company in Canada that re-branded knives from various manufacturers and marketed them in hardware stores under that name. This one dates back to the '80's. Little used, much loved. Mostly only carried when I am wearing dress pants. Not technically mine anymore as I told my son it would be his.

Can I join? Here are my peanuts-
A Bermuda Green Case, and a Rough Rider I bought to try my hand at scrimshaw:

That's a good spread for a first post!

With three 'nuts and another on the way, you more than qualify for membership in the cult. Welcome brother!:D

Might as well count me in now. Traded for a yellow Case peanut at a gunshow a few weeks back. Carried it all this week at work. The blades are developing a nice patina from slicing up my apple at lunch.

I have one that I am carrying looks like they were made by Queen. Stag is a nice smooth polish. Fit and finish is about a 8.5-9. Pull is about a 6. Blades came semi sharp, tooknabitbto get them really sharp (D2 can be tough), it is now a fily toothy shap that loves to cut tomatoes. Love mine, well worth it to me,but then I love Peanuts! Steven
