Indeed.Well that was perfect timing. Congrats!
Quite recently they ran out of their proprietary CV carbon steel and switched to regular 1095 carbon steel."CV" marking on their carbon blades to "CS"?
Hmm.Quite recently they ran out of their proprietary CV carbon steel and switched to regular 1095 carbon steel.
It might be pretty similar to the CV.Hmm.
The CV had a pretty good reputation, havent heared a lot about how they handle 1095.
Have mixed feelings with that.
Thanks. The problem i am having is with imgur. It isn't uploading any of my picks so i can get links to post here. I made sure i was logged in to imgur aTrapperMike I used imgur when I first signed up for BF, but I haven't used it recently. Let's see if I still remember. I don't have many photos on imgur anymore, so please forgive this non-peanut test.
Yes! It worked. I got the link from imgur, and clicked on the icon just above the text I'm writing that looks like this:
View attachment 2409891
That opens up a dialog box that looks like this:
View attachment 2409892
I just paste the imgur link into the url box, and press "Insert." While I'm composing the message, the photo appears as a link. I can see how it would look in the final posting by clicking "Preview" in the upper right corner.
I hope this helps. I remember reading about your peanut a while ago. I think (??) it may have been the chestnut in CV that got me looking for one myself. It'd be great to see it again.

Knipex is the shiznits.
Thank you everyone. Imgur had changed since i used last. Here is what i have been carrying lately. The peanut has been in my pocket everyday for almost 7 years now. I like a sak and seperate pliers better than a pliers based multitool. I can be pretty hard on pliers sometimes and i have broke alot of multitool pliers. Im not abusing them. They just aren't as tough as knipex or vise grips.
Knipex is the shiznits.
I agree. I always have the little 5 in cobras in my pocket and got the cobra wrench pliers about a month ago. Paired with my tinker and peanut i can get alot of work done in a days time. The Knipex cobras are awesome. I don’t have pliers in my edc but i use my Knipex all the time at work. I have snap on brand pliers of all shapes and forms in my plier draw but those Knipex cobra get more use than any of the snap on. Very effective for front end toe adjustment on tie rods, occasional use on oil filter removal, pulling nails from tires etc.
It does for me but not the clearest picture. The bone in that peanut looks awesome.Does this image show up ?
Looks fine to me.Does this image show up ?
Yes, and I agree that that peanut is stunning!Does this image show up ?
