Been reading a bunch of Carl's stories again lately. I ended up buying this Case Select peanut with Damascus blades and red stag handles. It's a pretty knife. I doubt I'll ever be a serial carrier of a peanut, but it is quite the useful little knife.

A CV peanut that is perfect for the lightweight shorts I am in lately. I sharpened to my personal standards. I just have to have a knife of some sort on me at all times. This is from the latest Case pass around. Could not resist.

Got a tooth pulled today, only place available on memorial day weekend was in Frederick Maryland. How appropriate that I have a peanut for the dental misadventure around an area Carl has mentioned several times in his stories.

Another new peanut... This one is a "Hard Hat" brand. I think bear and son may have made them. Stainless blades unfortunately, but it was a part of a closeout sale so $11 for a USA made pocket knife? I'll do that all day.

I have ordered a second one and a stockman. Also ordered 2 "pen knives" that were also quite good. At least for $11

Wonderful I'm glad to see Case doing more carbon steel, although I'm unsure about the flag shield. I have a stockman from that series on the way so I guess I'll find out.

Agreed! Always love to see carbon offerings from Case! Very nice! The medium stockman has been a long standing favorite of mine.

I would like to join, but I need to figure out how to post pics (to prove my eligibility). I do have a single blade with bail in redstag, a two blade in amber bone and a two blade in peanut butter and jelly.

I have an antique bone/damascus on the way.

I have been contemplating a mammoth.

I have been searching high and low for a 'nut with scissors (no zytel and no mop).

I would love to find someone who could customize a 'nut with a wharncliffe main blade and sheepsfoot secondary blade.

I love the nut!!!!!
