Some pics - both sides of the stag 'nut and I was able to get the jigging on the yellow 'nut to come out somewhat in the pic below, lack of photographic talent notwithstanding. :)

After all of the positive talk about this pattern I think I have one coming for Christmas. A nice yellow Delrin CV, o'boy can't wait to get it.

I think this little Robeson is the only 'nut I have. I got it some years back and if I recall paid a bit too much for it, but it was calling to me and did not need to be left behind.

Good thing you didn't leave it behind, that's a very nice little knife!!

From it's looks, it was a companion to someone for a long time, but still has many miles left in it.

Carl.

Yeah, it has been loved and still has good tight bone and springs. Someone definitely spent some time with it, but it is not abused. I carry it time to time, much more character to it than a new something.

Well you can count me in! My favorite knife of right now the chestnut on the box was my first and I've carried it almost every day sense I've got it. I didn't once and I just felt naked. I even bought a backup chestnut 'nut just in case if something happend to it. Then the yella handled 'nut was a gift. Then the stag was a I just had to. Im sure there will be many more to come.

My wife gave me my first peanut, a chestnut bone cv, for Christmas a few days ago. Along with the peanut she gave me a yellow cv medium stockman. I instantly fell in love with this little sweetheart of a peanut! It went straight from the box into my pocket. I am now forever a peanut fan and will be ordering a yellow cv sometime soon. I finally got around to taking a few pictures. They aren't real great but it's 13* and snowing outside right now.

does this count as a peanut? it was sold as such but that doesn't mean much.

it's a schrade walden with a stockman style blade line up (so stockman, right?) but it's peanut sized.

I like having it around either way but it'd be nut to call it a peanut :)

It's your knife, you can call it anything you want, but no it wouldn't be considered a Peanut.

These old Schrade's are a couple of my favorites, and I call them peanuts, just cuz :D The one in the second picture is an old Schrade-Walden version. I really need to take some new pictures :D

That's a great picture! Congrats on your first peanut! I like your background - it reminded me how absolutely rich I felt as a kid whenever I had a whole box of .22 shells - it just didn't get any better than that! ;)

Thank you! Having a whole box of .22 ammo these days still might make a man feel rich...that is if he didn't have to spend as much as a box is hoping for these days! Luckily I stocked up before people went crazy!

That looks great! Congratulations on having the courage to take the plunge. I take it this is what it looked like before:

When a redheaded cousin from the other side of the tracks has a marked family resemblance, you have to accept them as a relation.:D

It's actually a scarlet red since that's what it said on the rit package. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. All shined up from the jewel cloth.

I got a yellow peanut for Christmas ... and it's really starting to grow on me. I went to a gun show last weekend and saw a CASE peanut the really got my attention. Screwed up and didn't buy it and now I'm filled with remorse. I need some info so I can track one of these down. I did a quick search on BF and the 'bay but didn't find one ...

"smoky" pearl covers, file work on the springs and blades. I got to get me one of these! Cult members ... what model am I looking for?
