It looked soo shiny...should get a nice patina soon!
Hah, probably will, I'll let it do that on it's own, I'm not a heavy patina kinda guy ;)

Here's a couple shots showing the blades being a bit straighter to the handle, for me at least, I like the look and feel of it this way, others may prefer the more angled down look and that's certainly ok!

So many excellent pictures. I received my first peanut, a dark red bone CV, for christmas, and liked it so much, I had to go out and get it a partner, a yellow CV. :) When I figure out how, I'll post pictures.

Thanks JD as I say, only do a little and check after each swipe of the needle file.

Here's something that I'm sure most of you guys/gals would think odd, a sheath to carry the peanut? well of course I'm biased in carry but, when sitting or just not wanting to dig through my pockets and want to keep the dust bunnies out of there, a sheath for me works a lot of the time. I wish I had a little thinner leather, this was a bit of a pain to form!!! lol small knife but the blade shape of the clip makes it snap into the sheath so solid she'll never ever shake free but you can pull her out when needed. Handy little knife, makes me miss that Damascus stag I had, goofy me!

I had that Queen Rawhide nut for a bit..... it just didn't feel right with stainless. I'm just going to have to break down and get a Case Yeller CV nut.

Excellent work! I think the beefy leather works for some reason.

Thanks Tim, it is a stout little sheath for a sleek little knife, here's a side view showing the embossing I placed there, I call that one The North Star, to help lead my way when I wear it ;)

I can honestly say I don't like the peanut and I won't carry one. That being said, the knife I use most, twice a day religiously, is a peanut. I clean out my fingernails every morning with it while I'm drinking coffee after a shower and do the same in the evening with a beer. My brother-in-law gave this to me for my 30th birthday and I've not seen another like it. I never thought I'd be one of you but "My name is Ben and I use a peanut."

I'm hooked. I purchased a bone stag SS Peanut a couple months ago. But it didn't do much for me. So I then purchased this Delrin CV a month or so ago. I've been using it daily, and it's getting something of a patina on it now. Not completely even patina, but it's getting there. I think a bone 'nut will be my next purchase.

Alright folks, I used to have a peanut in stag but wasn't very happy with the stag. I ended up trading it away and didn't ever think about it again until now. At the time all I would carry was a bigger knife with a bit more meat on it but now have the appreciation that you fine folks do. I do still carry a bigger knife but like having a smaller knife on me that's a bit more work friendly like my swayback jack in cv which has become an everyday thing. I think now it has a bit more competition.

congrats on your new peanut, thanks for posting a pic

I agree stag is a very variable material and peoples taste also varies, some like fat stag, I do not. By fat, I mean handles fatter than the bolsters.

in the following pic you see the Peanut I kept, nice narrow stag, and one I passed along, slightly fat stag

Thank you sir. Yours both look great compared to the one I had. Mine was just dull dull dull. I think both of those have some great character.

absolutely beautiful knife holster work. I like the straighter angle on your nut blades too, thanks for the pics

here is one of my favorites

Thanks Jon, and that's a great looking one of yours, nice even edge too, bet she's sharp!
I've carried the peanut around a few days with this sheath and it's pretty handy, less digging in the pockets and it certainly isn't too big to upset folks at work, they think it's cute, little do they know how well it can cut and useful it is !
