After reading this thread I began wanting a peanut. Today, being payday, I picked one up at the local hardware store. It's a Case that I believe is part of the "working" series. It has jigged brown synthetic scales and SS blades. I'm pleased with the size, walk and talk and the ergonomics. I'm sure it'll find it's way into my watch pocket every morning.
I must confess that a month ago I was cramming a couple huge SOG knives in my pockets every day. I bought my first Case 3 weeks ago and have carried it every day since. I noticed that I never needed those huge assisted opening SOGs with their fancy ArcLocks. I'm a convert. I'll keep the big "tactical" folders for hunting trips but in reality I can get through my day with the traditional knives I've fallen in love with. Thank you everyone for keeping the traditional forums going and keeping the knives in your pockets classy.
I often carry a sod buster or large stockman hunting. Occasionally I'll use them on a buck. More often than not, I prefer a 3 inch fixed blade traditional knife to process game. Fixed blades often don't get meat in the joints.
Of course, a real man will process the game with a peanut.
It's rumored that Carl stopped a charging grizzly and then skinned it with his Peanut.

Richard Rogers made me his first peanut, linerless, weighs just 1/2 of an ounce.
Andy that's a beauty! I must say I'm thoroughly impressed with the F&F and quality of this yellow Peanut. Both blades perfectly centered, nice snap, etc. The Delrin has a very nice feel in hand and the metal finish is excellent on blades, springs, bolsters, liners, etc. For under $30??!!![]()
I wonder if there's a chance that Case might make a Bermuda green Peanut CV some day.

So this cult -- would you happen to have some literature I could look through? Like, a pamphlet ...or perhaps a manifesto?
