That is absolutely gorgeous! The current red bone doesn't come close to that. :thumbup:

I have 2 of em. I carried that yeller peanut for a while. A few months ago i got the bone/cv peanut. It is not new lookin' no more.

Sorry for the crappy picture. Its all i have.
Your picture isn't crappy. It's in focus. I've seen a lot worse. Nice knives. :thumbup:

Remington green bone peanut, circa 1924-1933. It shows some use, but, there is still some life in the ole knife - snappy blades fer such an old lad.:D

Some of you nudged me over the edge and I decided to let the red bone nut go south to patina land.:p Let me know if you like it better.:thumbup::thumbdn:

Both very nice:thumbup::thumbup:
The red bone looks nice no matter what, but the patina makes it look loved

Now it looks like a real pocket knife that some working guy in the1950's would have pulled out of his pocket. I know some will say YMMV, but to me a traditional pocket knife with jigged bone scales just looks wrong with shiny blades. Gray is the color or the day when I was growing up, so I guess i'm bred biased.:D

Carl, Grand High Mucba of gray blades.

Looks fantastic with a bit of colour in its cheeks.

WOW! what a beauty. Love the long pull. Interesting to notice the handle curve is reversed compared to a case peanut.

Maybe they were trying to do something a little different. The small blade on the Remington is in front of the main, also the opposite of a Case Peanut.;)

My new queen peanut arrived today. I got very lucky with the scales on this one, I'm amazed nobody beat me to it.

I must thank Carl too, whose pipe intervention allowed me to purchase this little stunner.

Thanks again Carl!
