After carrying my Case 62087 for some time finally broke down and bought a Peanut from that auction site just wanted to see the big difference between the nut and its slightly bigger brother the difference is clear the nut is everything the 087 is but for some reason I can't explain even more just something about the feel. Can't say I wont carry others but the nut now has a place in my pocket everyday and if the grand high muckba will allow would like to join the cult

It sound like yet another has found the indefinable charisma of the mighty legume. Of course you are welcome into The Cult. :thumb up:

Carl, Grand High Muckba.

Thank You Mr Carl I can foresee this yeller nut with CV blades accompanying me on whatever my next adventure, after this Army one ends.

Nice collection of 'nut, oldmanrunning :)

Which color it is between the amber bone and the red bone?

Ouch! That smooth bone is cool, I like it. My other Peanut is smooth Antique bone and has a very nice feel in hand.

That Antique Bone XX is a beauty, i am guessing it is an older model ? Unfortunately older knives are harder to buy in the UK as it is against Ebay rules to ship to us..

OMR,

It's a 2007 Peanut in stainless. Another member advised that this "XX" shield indicates it might have been an SFO run. I don't remember seeing this color bone on a Peanut before, but I'm far from being knowledgable about that. It's sure a sweet little 'Nut tho. I only have two, this one and the yellow Nut in CV. I've sure grown to love the smaller knives though I admit.

I gave my Yellow peanut to a friend not long ago after getting a Yellow Pen Knife and a Chestnut/CV nut in.

The new Chestnut and an older Blue bone Select. I usually don't care for Blue bone, but like it OK on a small knife.
