Cult of the Texas Jack; why should the peaNUTS get all the glory

Yeah Jim, no doubt about it - a Texas Jack is a knife! OH

Thats very nice of Texas Jacks. I like the pattern. I also enjoy my Queen Stockman, but they're both a tad large to reside in my change/watch pocket.

This is a mint 6292 that I picked up in the Exchange and is a new addition since I posted last in this thread.

Trying to get it broken in, but so far I have bent back a couple of fingernails trying to open it.

Glad to see the group get a little sunshine. I recently moved and packed all my knives away. Kept the STJ and a 15 out for use during the move. They've manned the ship for about two months. Love that STJ.

As soon as my wallet recovers from this week's barlow madness I'll be picking up my first texas jack, great stuff on these pages

Traded into this guy. Not sure why I never picked one up before now. Great knife!

I ordered this one to replace the previous TJ that i let go , unfortunately for him he arrived at the same time as a Tidioute #57 Half Whittler that just showed up for sale on a forum here in the UK, i have been waiting to snag a #57 for a while so the TJ may not get a carry for a while.

Looking through some of these pictures or would appear the main blade could be longer when compared to the handle size. Is there a lot of room left over in the handle when the blade is closed?

I only have the one:o even though I am from Tejas.:D

Old pic...

And, oh hey, look, a matching Peanut tagging along for the ride.:p

Hope this answers your question.
