Ryan, what would you say is your lightest and flattest scale material on the full-size Griptilian? Thanks.

I believe the canvas micarta is actually the lightest of the materials I use. As for the flattest version I do, I do a completely flat sided version. Make's the knife about 1/8" thinner over all. It's hard to go much thinner though because of the length of the pivot and the liner screws. To go thinner you have to start grinding down hardware to make it work. The large grip is just a fat knife, there's not much that can be done to change that.

580 is coming soon. I'm ashamed it's not done yet, been telling people it was coming forever now. I just got really busy with moving another mill into my tiny shop and getting that all set up, programmed and running. Hoping to get the full size barrage programmed over the winter months.

$90 paypaled and shipped with the spools spacers, $110 with a solid G10/micarta spacer. I'm telling people the wait time is 3-4 weeks, but more than likely it would be finished early.

Finally got to the full size barrage. Obviously very similar to my mini barrage design. One nice thing is unlike the mini, the design of this knife allowed me to make the scales quite a bit thinner than the stock scales. So if you think you'd enjoy a slimmer barrage these are probably for you. Here's a couple example sets I made so far, I can basically do all the same things I do with the griptilians for these.

This is some cool cross cut layered micarta. This stuff looks really awesome when polished, but I like micarta rough for better traction.
