I’d have a really tough time deciding between CF with the milled finish Ctek vs. polished finish Ctek. Both are beautiful.

Does the milling shred pant pockets, or is it comparable to your bead blast finish?

Very subtle, comparable to the blasted finish. Definitely isn't going to hurt even the dressiest of pants. At the same time is really provides a great amount of traction in your hands.

Since there are a couple of folks making them, I'm guessing you PM'ed Ryan ( deathofallthings ). Anyway you should have 'cause he's the man. I see that he was last seen on 8/5 so he might be taking a break. He does a great job and it would be worthwhile to keep on trying. He's also on Facebook and Instagram (same username on both) so you might try those places also. He does a great job and will make you a happy camper. Time spent on contacting him will be time well spent and well worth any contact hassles. I see he has a message on Instagram that says "I make and sell scales for a few Benchmade models. Email me with any questions: Ryan_M_Roberts@Hotmail dot com Sorry I never check DMs, please email me."

Any work coming up on Bugout scales by chance? I own a set of your micarta mini grip scales and I’ve been looking endlessly for someone to make left-handed micarta scales for the bugout.

I bought a pair of black G10 scales from deathofallthings for my 940 (my only pocket knife) in spring of 2016. They still look like and work like new, I've had no problems and the fit was perfect.

I made an account here because I've been appreciating my 940 lately and I wanted to say that he makes quality products and I've been very happy with my handles.

Trying to have the bugout programmed done for the end of the year, so should be able to order them in January. Leftie won't be a problem.
