STR, sorry if I was not clear, I meant to appologize if you had already mentioned that you did do the clips for the skirmish and or mini-skirmish. Sorry about the confusion.

Sounds awesome, as soon as I get one in hand I'll email you for shipping instructions.

Thanks again.

No problem Paul.

On another note. Eddie from K5 Tactical wanted a low rider for his Surefire flashlight. This was not the first time someone contacted about a clip for a flashlight but it is the first time I actually had one sent to me to do. It worked out well in the end.

I really am not familar with the knife. I'd need to see it to know. Can you post a pic?

That or send me one via my email.

Thanks

Steve

Got it flip. I replied to you with my address and prices. 99.9% sure I can fix you up on that one.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm afraid I stumbled across a great deal at a local gunshop today so it may be a few weeks before I send the knife to you. I'll email you first to confirm things with you before I ship it. Thanks, Phil

My first attempt at a "Y" clip. This one is an Applegate/Fairbairn that didn't have a clip on it originally.

The Request from J. was for something, "that will not show up big against blue jeans". So, I figured what better color than blue jean blue. This should blend pretty good against your pants J.

Fantastic, perfect. You do great work and the quick turnaround is amazing. Blue Jean Blue should become a classic. You should stamp your clips with a logo or just "STR".

Although some have made it out without my "STR" I sign most all of them on the underside back. Thanks for the feedback.

I have not done a CF Harpy and installed a low rider on it. I did a tip up conversion on one but used the original clip and just flipped it.

Sorry.

Here is a clip flip on a pretty neat knife by Kershaw called the Talon. I've only read about these until this one showed up in my shop. It opens like a Wave now thanks to the clip flip.

This other one called the Sting by A.G. Russell was a bit of a challenge to thread because the frame lock is so thick but I managed to get it done and build a nice custom low rider clip for it that converts it nicely to tip up carry. I also made a custom ring to mount to the position the old clip was to keep grit and dirt from getting into the pivot area.

Thanks Paul for the chance to play with both of these that I had never had the chance to handle before.

Today another Almite Walker by Spyderco was converted to tip up carry. This one with a low rider at the owners request.

Julian sent me back his BladeTech in a surprise package that arrived late yesterday. This time for a "blue jean blue" low rider.

Thanks Julian.

Just had to post this...
That's my Almite Walker that Steve did a "Blue Jean" Low Rider clip on. Just opened the package a while ago and was blown away. Sits much lower in pocket than it did before and the clip just disappears on the jeans.
Now that this one is perfect, I'll have to go thru the drawer and find something else for this "Backyard Knife Mechanic" to work on for me.

Thanks Steve.

Thanks Bob.

Here is a pic of the blue color on your knife since I didn't want to blow the surprise for you and anodized it without you really saying I could. I was a bit worried you would not like it actually but the blue color has been so popular and your knife already being blue was just too temping to resist.
