Custom Slipjoints

Win,

Congrats. A stunning knife from one of my favorite makers. His work is always elegant.

Here are a few that are just out of Mike Zscherny's shop that will add to the drool factor in this thread also.

The owner/owners of those are some lucky someb.....:p

I gotta say that Mike's "Eureka Jack" looks very desirable!:thumbup:
(Looks like he's been spending some time with Tony and his patterns. ;))

Mike Zscherny is building fine Slipjoint Knives. His workmanship is excellent as with all his knives..

Gotta agree Darrell. Spoke with Mike earlier today and I'm sure he's very pleased with the positive feedback. I'm sure we'll be seeing quite a few of his knives posted in the forum over the coming weeks and months.

I've got his single blade swayback in stag in my pocket as we speak.

I've been on the lookout for one of Mike's Swaybacks in stag. That one pictured is as nice as it gets, I think.

Carrying one of those has to put a smile on your face!:)

Thanks Gus, I was runnin' a surplus of drool lately and needed an outlet. :p :D ;)

Here's some knife content so you don't think I just posted to give Gus raspberries. :)

My Menefee clip point shadow which I have been carrying constantly for almost 2 weeks, and which I can say is truly a pleasure to tote.

Wait till you see the one I have in the works from Mike. Also, I'm glad he has started doing multi blades. Wonderful Eureka Jack...I think I'm going to have a talk with him tomorrow about finding another 2 blade pattern for him to get started on...

I really like Mike's clip blade jack (it looks similar to Tony's Lanny's clip). That is one sweet pattern.

I have several of Mike Z's knives. They are all top drawer. Mikes stag is off the charts and looks much better in person than can ever be depicted by pictures - very grainy with terrific color.
I should be getting a 2 Blade Trapper sometime in the next week or so. When it arrives, i will post some pictures, possibly along side some of its brothers.
In the meantime, here is a Tear Drop that i may have posted earlier - this one actually came to me via Gus i seem to recall.

Who me :D. Sell a knife? (I hope I never have to do that, but you never know what the future will bring).

I saw that beautiful knife at Blade this year, I think Mike R. sold it to you. ;).

I think I have sold three knives out of my collection in 30 years and none were slip joints or multiblades. (2 Brends and a damascus fixed blade)

I am a very sick man, I know.

Lee Grogan had that knife. I told Rick about it after Lee sent me a picture.

Mike is doing some great work and getting better with each knife. I look forward to seeing more of his two-blade patterns.

Rick, I don't know if it's an honor to me that you thought I was Gus, or an insult to Gus that you thought he was me.

I've seen that Teardrop posted before. That's a great looking knife!

Just got the photo of Mike Alsdorf's first THREE AND ONE HALF INCH Jack.

I call it the Black Beauty. What do you think about his, no, Mine :D New larger size?

That's a beauty for sure Jim. I'm glad to see that Mike is offering a new size also. Congrats!

Jim for my taste in Jack Knifes the aesthetics are wrong. It will probably make you a fine knife. As it looks to be well built..
