Custom Variants of the Diskin Fire for Blade Show

:)
Low country. "Dinner to go" from Mountain Fresh Grocery. The lobster was no match for the Elmax.

Good stuff, thanks for posting it....gonna have marinated salmon for dinner tonight, maybe I'll get a chance to use my Fire as well.

I just got back from vacation and back to the internet so I must bump this. I picked up one of these at Blade show and at first I was apprehensive to spend outside of my comfort zone on a folding knife but this knife was really worth it. I handled a lot of folding knives/tactical/whatever at the show and I feel this knife really was superior. It definitely served me well on my vacation.

This was on top of Sunset Rock in Highlands, North Carolina:

Very nice thanks for posting up

Like I mentioned earlier I love that makers buy this knife

It speaks volumes of Matt's work

Matt and I are forgoing back to Folks :)

I have been carrying mine for a few days. The design of this knife is just spot on, I am very happy I was able to pick one up. Joe and Matt are pleasure to deal with too.

Ill add some pics tomorrow.

I got a Fire from a vender here earlier this year. Mine is stonewashed Elmax with LSCF back spacer & normal CF scales. Beautiful yet tough & smooth knife!
I'm used to ZT/Kershaw knives with flippers, so I'm really interested in seeing Matt's flipper knife!

It should not be long now :)

And wait till you see the new flipper :)

I am not a flipper guy butttttttt if ya gotta have one this one is gonna be a hell of a knife. its kinda a hybrid in my eye

In a world of over built (feels like your carring a dumbbell in your pocket & the other end of the spectrum anemic flippers this one is gonna be heavy D with class :)

With an almost 4 inch Blade that has an awesome profile and many other quality design components this knife is sure to be very desirable

Ok, the anticipation is killing me Joe. How long do I have to wait??

Not sure how I missed this, but if you're recommending this Joe is must be a fantastic folder design. I still can't figure out how the 'auto' part works... w/out giving away too many specifics, is there a 'release' under the carbon fiber? I'm also a fan of flippers so I can't wait to see how that turns out.

Wish I'd have put my name on one of those Fires. :(
