I was thinking in bed last night and my last thought before slumber was why the governments are so focused on folders, regardless of how they are deployed/opened. I mean, if one carries a fixed blade, large or small, wouldn't just drawing it out of a sheath ready to go be faster than any auto, A/O or manual knife? For me, the convenience of a folder is the ability to "put it away" not how fast I can whip it out and use it as a make shift weapon. And yes, it may be shorter than many FB's. It seems that a well placed FB in a fast draw sheath in the pocket or on the side would negate the need to regulate a folder of any kind or why not go after FB's too.
What gives? Set me straight on why this isn't a valid argument . . .
Never make the mistake of thinking there's any logic to this, or that logic and reason woudl prevail as an argument. There is none, any more than there was in the Federal Switch Blade Act originally. Logic and reason have nothing at all to do with it.
