Why should Dale explain your complaint? You're the one making the complaint. You're the one making the accusation. It seems to me you are the one that is responsible for justifying it--if you want it to be believed, that is.

Sorry, Franklin, but I don't think you did make any points. If nothing else: In your own words (the email to Dale), you acknowledge the deal was "tentative."

You may be miffed the deal fell through, but that doesn't automatically mean Dale necesarily acted in bad faith. You may have a valid complaint, but it seems to me you've yet to prove it.

Franklin, you seem to be confused on a very basic point: If you assert something, it's up to you to back it up, not somebody else to back it up for you or to disprove it.

I'm wondering that myself. Obviously Dale isn't going to and the old adage is "he who smelt it dealt it", or, "Put up or shut up".
We got your point Franklin, but what difference does it make to have Dale post them?

I think the point is.....as someone that has done many, many deals over the years via Bladeforums, I would never consider dealing with someone as infantile as yourself.

Like many here, I have done several deals with Dale, all to the good. You on the other hand, have been here a short time and choose to do battle is a most vague way with someone that has been buying and trading here for a long time. You have presented little in the way of direct communication to support your argument.

The whole point in dealing on the forum is to be happy with the deal (both sides) when the deal is done. If anyone changed their mind on a trade deal, no harm, no foul as long as no one already shipped their knife, IMO. However, to come onto GB&U and post in the aggressive and nasty form that you have, it unacceptable, at least to me.

Good riddance.

I've paid my dues here and have had dealt with and corresponded with many A+ people here at the Blade Forum. It just so happenes, the particular dealing with Dale Richmond was miserable.

At least you weren't burned. Annoying is more the attribute I would use to describe your inconvenience. That and this thread.

Kinda what I was thinkin myself and I am sure many others have less respect for him than dale at this point. Funny how that works :p
 
? These kinds of threads are important to me so I can tell who to deal with and who not to. What I'm not clear on is,,, was there actually a trade agreed to then not completed? If so,,then thats a problem according to most forums "rules".

Yes, it sure is funny how these things turn out.

I simply posted my disgust with someone that has done many deals with other members. That's wonderfull because I usually check these things out before I deal with people.

Then I find myself on the wrong end of the stick.

But see now, I'm well over that
Mr.Dale Richmond doesn't have the nerve to admit it... so what!

So to those that think I'm the bad-guy here, that's your perogative.
Buying, Selling and Tradeing works both ways.

just like when I was dealing with Dale Richmond, He would log-in several times a day, I can only assume to see who was going after his dangling carrot.

Like I said, it's annoying when you get your hopes up for anything and it doesn't work out but look what this thread is doing to YOUR reputation here. You may not care but others might.
