Danny Collection is here...

I seen it on Facebook 20 minutes ago and checked to see if a 112 was offered..When I sent a message to my Brother David about the 110 he asked me to get one for him. I really like small runs of cool odd Bucks!
Even though I prefer 112s, I got the 110 anyway because of reasons. I love these special runs when I happen to catch them. Bummed when I miss them. Got an email this time but didn't get SMS.

No text here either.
The bummer is I checked emails just 5 minutes before I received the notification.

oh well.

I heard rumors that someone was going to fill in the void left by Joe.
I love the idea that Buck is doing this again.
Some cool things to come I'm sure.

I been watching the videos on these. All are very nice!
I'm impressed.
👍

5160 Drop point 110 with micarta handles. Snagged two of em!

Had to have one of those myself. Simply fantastic looking work!!

I thought the quantity was higher on those. Is this something that is very important and needs to be included on his builds moving forward?

Candidly, if this is a special edition made by a person with the history with the company Danny has, it really should. I admit that I don't love that the 110s don't come with a COA, because then it's almost like "Here's another parts Custom shop knife made by our staff", instead of something made by Danny Peretti.

Funny thing was, I happened to be checking my email because I was looking for a refund notice for a jigged Buffalo horn Case Half-Whittler. Company said they had it on website but it ended up being out-of-stock, like everywhere else. So I happened to see the Buck email and I was able to get the Buck buffalo horn knife to compensate for me losing out on the Case one. The Buck one should be a lot better, anyways.

I agree with that line of thinking.

I agree 100%. I ordered one anyway but it would be that much cooler with a COA.

I thought I was explaining how balance in the universe was maintained.
lol.

I guess mine's pretty wobbly right now.
No biggie really.
sniff.😢

I keep waiting for that 192 Pro to get onsite, and then Danny's knife is released for the same price.
Man those 2 knives don't even compare value wise...... Same blade steel.
I believe Danny's knife probably got an attention to detail that the Pro's don't get.

Same price.
hmm 🤔

It's good to hear some folks here grabbed some as they will be appreciated.

edit.
my bad.
Danny's knife is s30v and the Pro is s35v.

If there was a COA, I'd buy one. As it is, I'm on the fence balancing my money in one hand wondering if I should trade it for the knife : )
I would prefer to have COA too but I bought one. You could print something out using an old COA as a template. This is not to be deceptive but to maintain the memory of its origin.

Edit: Also, it may not be too late for Buck to quickly print something up.

I hear you. I will make sure we have COA's included on all of his knives moving forward.

Can you confirm that Mr. Peretti did indeed make the Buck 110s?

Edit: Not trying to be a jerk here, this is just the first time I've seen something like this where a COA was left out of a special knife of a run where the others of the run included them. It kinda smacks of "Well, if they wanted a COA, they should have bought one of the $400 knives".
