Danny Collection is here...

Im more a 100 series fixed bade guy but the 110 is just too classic not to get another...picked up a Danny 110. I think there are 29 left at the moment.

think I'll sell my all black 722 BOTM at a loss to pick up and fully cover the cost one of these really nice 110s for the collection. smh

copped the 110. never really cared for burlap micarta but hoping the 5160 drop point can ease me in
I never got the appeal of burlap Micarta either. I guess they are going for the rustic, working man's knife look but to me it looks unfinished and something I don't think I'd want to pay extra for. It looks like something I would have accidentally made in shop class by erroneously placing a wet epoxy handle on a burlap bag. Don't get jealous, I only took one shop class (8th grade) and no way did they let us make knives.

The 110 is really tempting! The only thing holding me back (other than buyer's hesitancy due to $$$) is the drop point. I know most of us really like the drop points, some more than the clip point, but after owning three 110s with drop points, I really prefer the clip.

I think the 110s are gone now. Just the Vantages left - no surprise there.

Edit: No disrespect to Danny. The Vantage looks great. I just think it is overpriced. Dare I say that the turquoise one was probably underpriced? Don't know how valuable a turquoise handled knife is.

i really like several canvas micartas. the finish on this one is polished, it may be that I didn't like the unfinished burlap scales i've seen.

If the standard blade on the 110 was a drop point, everyone would be begging Buck to offer clip points.. ;o)

And now we are down to the 346 Vantage. The more I look at this knife the more I like it. I doubt the pics online do it justice. I bet in the hand the Indigo blue paperstone and Damasteel combination is quite a looker . Of course the drawback/roadblock is the price tag. Yikes!

I think the main picture is not good but the others seem to highlight it better. The main picture to me makes it look like black FRN. Still it is too expensive for me to pull the trigger. I'm not a big fan of damascus, which is probably one of the price drivers. But it isn't like someone forged a damascus blade with 128 layers or something. That I would probably buy.

Edit: Also, the Vanguard 192 looks like it has a big crack across it. I hope the one I get doesn't look like that.

I hope it does.
I hope you hate it.
I hope you sell it to me.
Then my universe will finally be well.
😊
