Might strip it and force a patina. Going to take out the screw and see if I can fit the handle to the eye as well as possible. Might just replace the handle, depending on what it looks like when it gets here. Definitely going to have you or Nate sharpen it up for me. I probably won't put too much effort into it, to be honest. I doubt this hawk will replace my hatchet for outdoor use (especially considering my hatchet is still lighter at 1.25lbs vs.1.5lbs for the hawk), but for the price, I'm looking forward to dicking around with it.

On the axe/hatchet/tomahawk front, what I'm really lusting after, is a GB Small Forest Axe....
