Hey guys...been a while. Ive been so busy lately. I was in Reno for the Wild Sheep show then Vegas for SCI and just got back from Utah for the Western Hunting Expo.

We should meet up sometime this week or next.

I might be down for the range on early sunday morning. But I need to get back to the Yoga studio by noon because I have class and also need to rehearse for a Yoga demonstration the same night.
 
yeah, if we go, i was thinking early sunday morning too since i'm planning a motorcycle ride Sunday afternoon.

Are there fees for the range if you're not shooting? It'd be cool to tag along, if I'm not outside somewhere. Strained my back a little somehow over the past week or so (I need to do yoga...), so I've been sort of gingerly moving around these past few days. Hope to be recovered enough to hike/backpack, but we'll see.

Take care of that back man. Getting into a hot room and doing light stretching will help with circulation. The heat relaxes the muscles, improves circulation, and helps prevent injuries. I hate the heat but still do it everyday.

I think the range fee is 15 dollars for the day at Los Altos Rod and Gun. You are welcome to play with some of our toys. I will bring mostly rifles and maybe a shotgun if we decide to go. It is usually very chill and relaxing once we arrive and have everything setup.

I didn't realize that abalone shells are that pretty. Looks like you polished it up real good. Very cool!
 
Yeah, I'm took a sick day to give it some quality time to recover. Might need another day or two though, the way it's feelin. I haven't lifted anything heavy recently either so it's kinda out of the blue. Gotta be from using a decidedly un-ergonomic microscope set up at work last thursday, or from constantly bending over at the waist and checking my GF and myself for ticks at Henry Coe this past Saturday... I really need to work on some core strengthening....

If I guys go and I don't hike that day, I'll meet up with you guys at the range :thumbup: I hope to have something of my own to shoot within a year or so....
 
Thursday next week is cool with me too...what time are you thinking? I have rounds in Santa Cruz until 730, but am happy to drive over the hill after I finish up school stuff.

Wow! That's an amazing abalone shell! I wish I could do that... All my gf got was a bottle of ink, a letter and some flowers.
