A friend of mine, who's a retired carpenter, had the CT surgery and worked really well for him. Hope yours is equally successful.Really at only $250 (plus tax) why not use it? What some folks are forgetting is that you can TAKE IT APART and configure it to exactly what you want it to be. Use the Black aluminum frame? Sure. Want to keep the S45VN blade pristine? Why not..Got a cool Drop point blade?(I do!) Put that in..The only reason I haven't played with the 3 older versions I have and this one when I get mine home is I'm making a special display for the Blade Show next year and I didn't want to scratch or bung up any of the handles, frames or screws till I have the right tools and make a safe jig to hold it while I play with it. My left hand is frail and my good right hand has carpal tunnel really severe..but I had surgery last week! I'm hoping it recovers but I'm not sure how much it will come back or even if it will. So till I rig up something to hold it securely I don't want to chance it.
Maybe, just maybe, Buck will sell us "parts" in the Custom shop for all the Take-Apart 110's and 112's because I really, really want to play Barbie Bucks with this revolutionary folder Buck has given us.

I had carpal tunnel surgery 20 years ago and both recovered quickly and still good to go I went to using it as soon as I got stitches out to keep it from setting stiff but now it’s my wrist giving me fits . Hopefully yours will recover quickly.mbkr I get the stitches out tomorrow and I will stop by OT and ask about stretch exercises and how best to rehabilitate. My problem was I waited way too long to get it done. Frankly I was afraid of the surgery..I had a 26' ramp out the back door just so I could use the stand up walker (since I could not use my cane) to get in and out of my house. I've been using it for a few months around the house just to take the load off my hand. No matter what I'm taking it to the Blade Show because I can fly compared to using a cane. I have refused a scooter for years now.
Very nice. Liking the pocket clip.
250.00 its on the spendy side. But I like it.Really at only $250 (plus tax) why not use it? Around $40 ... more expensive than a 110LT, but still affordable.in US converted dollars, what was the price in Thailand?
Great looking knife!! The 112 and 500 are my long term favorite model Buck knives.
I cannot help but notice that the scales seem poorly finished to me, though? Maybe, that is by design?
Those are impressive.
