You are correct. I see that now. I will edit my earlier posts. I really didn’t think it was an error. But I see now it is. So my order probably won’t ever go through. My apologies for posting an error.

I swear on my brothers grave I wasn’t trying to get one over on buck. The coupons always exclude BOTM, but this one didn’t. I was only posting to share what I thought was a deal to other buck guys. I see that I was wrong and admit it, and also apologize for it. I even removed the posts.
The last thing I’m trying to do is get one over on buck, and be frowned upon by the Buck guys here. Especially you Makael Makael . I read your posts all the time and really admire the quality work of yours I have seen posted before.

I just checked their page and it was a group member that posted regarding the coupon code--not Buck. Buck posted the BOTM and in the comments it was posted about the code.
 
So it is solid wood, not a laminate , African Ebony..I wonder why Buck said 'Distinct' ??..I have to admit I have learned more about Ebony in the last 2 days than I learned in the previous 64 years lol I'm surprised how popular it is now for traditional pocket knives and has has been since the 1800's..Thanks for posting the pictures..it truly is black.
 
Is there no way to check your order status on the Buck website....? 0_o
