Great Post and also I don't want Fixer27 to win Jerry's contest with his trolling behavior. Come on everyone join in and ignore Fixer27's post.

:D:D

Eric, I like your Idea, but all he has to do is bring it back to the top. I don't think you need to worry. My post was the last post I will put there as he is just not worth my time. He needs to evolve a little more.

If you keep tightening it, it should look like this. The pics above were my first attempt and after some practice, you can keep it tight as pictured below.

Awesome tutorial KAAK

I tied D guards on both my HOGFSH and Hell Razor; and I'll probably tie one on my CG FBM when it arrives. I find the D guards to improve both form and function :)

Do you recommend removing the center strand from the 550 (it looks like you have) or can you leave the strand in? Thanks.

I prefer/recommend leaving it in. I tried it once without the cord and it was extremely thin and in my opinion, came out poorly. If you keep workin' it as described and with some practice, I find that with the 550 "guts" intact, it makes for a great guard. :)

Thanks for the tutorial. I will make an attempt to add a para D-guard to a couple of my CG FBMs. Pictures will be posted.

Thanks KAAK. I gave a FBM coming so I will attempt to put one on when it gets here. I just got 100ft of 550 in Woodland Camo. Should go nice with the Snakeskin handles I ordered.

Sounds good. I used about 15 feet and that guard is snug (So maybe use 30 feet to be safe). Make sure you adjust the 3 strands to fit your comfortably and remember that it's there to help keep your knuckles guarded. After you have the proper sizing, then start the weaving.

Look forward to your pics and hope it turns out great for you. :)

Has anyone tried rigging this D-guard on an AK?

If so, what length of cord is needed?

Probably shovling:D

His last post stated around twenty inches of snow and still coming down.

Not fun at all when it was clear as a bell the day before.
