Deep carry / low ride titanium clips for Spyderco - Delica, PM2, Manix, etc. - Run #3

Are the short, black powerdcoat still an option?

Looking for something to go on an blackout PM2... along with a few stonewashed

Hi Super - if you are on this thread, I tried to shoot you a PM but your inbox is full. Thanks for the order!

Hey SnB - I just sold out of the black PC clips. Sorry about that. I'm hoping to have more in about a month.

Hi there, just sent you a paypal payment for a short version clip in you sand wash finish for my Paramilitary 2.

I have a few of long versions on my delica's and they are awesome!

Casey,
No problem at all. Thank you for the quick response.

Looks like it'll be wearing a sand wash clip until the next round of black ones come out.
Paypal inbound shortly.

Hi Casey,

Are the sandwashed clips still the standard $16? Sandwashing seems to give very fine markings; you would happen to have a "stone-washed" variety, with coarser markings on the metal, would you?

Hey Cricks - I haven't dialed in a good stone washing process yet, where I get consistent results (in case someone wants to order the same thing down the road). You are correct, the sand washing leaves a more uniform surface with less scratches than stone washing. And yessir, they are $16.

Ok. I guess I'm a little unclear on this still--are you still willing to do the stone washing then, even with inconsistent results? If so, is that process still $16?

Hey Cricks - yeah, I'd be happy to give it a try. I've done it a few times, and it looked pretty good. I didn't keep doing it because I wanted the results to be the same from batch to batch and I haven't got that dialed yet. But you bet, I'll do one up for you.

New clip from Casey. So I learned that the flame anodizing was not available but Casey did sent me a pic of what he called a fade. It had the colors I was looking for so I went ahead and got one. I messaged him a few days later on the 17th to double check he had received my order. He replied he did and would have it out asap. Well he's pretty sneaky because I just received the clip today! The ano is harder to see then what I pictured but I suppose I should have known it didn't show as well based on others reviews on it. Not nearly the richness of color as his example picture he sent me but still very nice and worst case scenario I just sand it to plain finish. The more subdued coloration probably fits better with my use of EDC.

The original pocket clip on the Delica 4 is nice but I love the deep carry. It still removes easy in my tip down right hand carry. I also noticed Caseys clip slides into the pocket easier than the original. Sometimes I would two hand it to get it started but with Casey's clip I am already putting it back smoothly one handed.

Love the fact these are made in the USA by someone willing to fully back their product. Casey said he has over 2,000 of these clips sold and I can see why. I can't seem to get my pictures to post, I'll try again from my work computer.

The top image is Casey's example and also I believe the clip that is shown at the start of the original post about the clips and I think had some people confused as to what the ano actually was. The other three are pictures of my clip. Under the right light you can see some of the ano fade show up with the purple at the bottom going to the bronze/gold at the top, but its pretty hard to see most times.

Hey Kalibr - thanks for the post. Sorry about the ano - it might be the light in my shop makes them look brighter. I couldn't open the pics to take a look, but shoot me a PM and I'll make it right for you.
