DEER SEASON REPORT.................How did everyone do?

Is it fun to share with us or are you having fun making me jealous? Really need to make it to your neck of the woods to see it first hand.

That's the first time I've seen bull elk locking horns in the yard--can't exactly guarantee that. I pitch a quart of corn off the back deck a couple of times a day this time of year to keep the turkeys and mule deer coming through the yard, so that's pretty much a given. You need to bring the wife and kids out for a hiking trip and take a look around--or if you like to ski, Ski Apache has a 63" base this winter. Open invitation, if you can swing it. :thumbup:
 
Dosen't compare to Wills great Elk pic., but I got this skinny little Blacktail from my window.

Skiing for me is just a fancy way to smash my face into trees. Never could get the hang of it.

not my thing, either--no guns + no knives = no motivation
But swinging my B11 at trail encroachments when I'm hiking is another matter altogether :thumbup:
